Thank you Awilner for prompt reply but just need to have an rough idea as to when do you expect the list Noc1111 to closed. Any rough estimate from past experience or so.

It will take some time. May be late August or late September but nor before that for sure. NOC 1111 ain't gonna fill out that easy. It may be half way through but no full for sure.

I have read many cases on this Forum and other Forums where applicants had several verification checks at their work place by CIC folks (mostly all cases at NDVO).......
Have anyone heard of CIC people doing similar checks at your work location in USA or Canada or any other countries......

I know for sure it had happened to many applicants in India.... just curious to know if CIC does the same for applicants at other countries??

Local VOs have the power to do this for any applicant. The truth is that there is more verification work done in countries that are known to be hotbeds of immigration fraud, particularly India and mainland China. No offense intended toward people from those countries, but it is a fact, so they throw more anti-fraud resources at it. (In fact, a couple of posters on this forum from India have admitted that they submitted fraudulent applications or intended to do so.)

An applicant who has been complete, accurate and honest in his/her application has nothing to fear if the local VO undertakes any verification of the information in the employment letters or any other part of the application.

Guess it will be updated once CIC starts giving PER..... as to my understanding getting your CC/DD charged doesnt mean one less from the over all cap, hence these are not updated now..... just a thought.

The folks at CIC always take their sweet time updating that page. They just started processing the first applications less than 10 days ago, and frankly, this page is not at the top of their priorities. Even once they start updading, it's going to be erratically, at most once per week, with no regular schedule, and it will probably not reflect actual current caps. So all we can do is relax and wait for Joe Canuck over at the CIO to say out loud in the middle of the office, "Hey, guys, someone should update that caps page, eh?".

Just for the clarity. I am in a company for more than 6 years and i gave detailed job letter for my current company only and also NOC code also matching to that only. For previous 2 job experience I just provided the default work experience letter. will they verify the previous ones too? Those companies are exist but not in the address mentioned in the Experince letter

Yeah start preparing your application. The day you receive your IELTS score should be the day your application should leave for Sydney, NS.

There's no need to guess. It's the same every year. Because CIC receives such a huge volume of mail when they first start accepting applications is always takes them some time to go through the first batch and post the numbers. The first set of numbers usually aren't posted until 6-8 weeks after CIC starts accepting applications. Once the numbers are posted, they are always around 6-8 weeks behind.

@FSWDev

Your credit card has been charged, right?

What a day, not even a single CC charged (at least on this forum), only 1 bad news.

Hopefully, coming days will bring good news only. May Allah/God bless us All!!!

Shah / any other Pakistani applicant please guide how to fill table for Question # 7 (Education) in Schedule A Form - as per Karachi Board/University

1. Please confirm if following Start Date / End Date seems correct:
SSC Certificate = ??? TO 1997 June (I am not sure from which class SSC counts start)
HSC Certificate = 1997 Aug TO 1999 Sept
B.Sc (Pass 2 years) = Feb 2000 TO July 2007
MCS (2 years) = Jan 2003 TO Dec 2004

2. Name of Institution should be Board Name or School/College name? In marksheets School/College name is mentioned while in Certificates only Board name is mentioned. What should I write?

3. In 'Type of Certificate' column, I mentioned respectively "SSC Certificate", "HSC Certificate", "B.Sc(Pass)", "Masters". Is that correct?

4. In 'Field of Study' column, I mentioned respectively "Science", "PreEngineering", "CompMathStat", "Comp. Science". Is that correct?

5. There's few months gap (around 5 - 6) between HSC, B.Sc and MCS due to waiting for results and new academic calendar for next program. Will it be a problem?

should go well, but as one of the memeber said in earlier post..... it all depends on the CIC officer looking at your application. Till date, never heard of any issues with ppl in similar situation as yours.... but lets hope for the best.

By the way, what visa office did you select for processing?
