Covert the currency in Question 11 of the Economic class application form.whips said:I got my bank certification letter but it states my funds in local currency. Do I have to do a cover letter to show Canadian equivalent? If so, do I have to include the source of the exchange rate data?
Please advise.

Please write a covering letter explaining the scenario and attach it to the roles and responsibilities letter. It shouldnt be a problem as the CIC officers generally understand hese situations.sanyasi said:Seniors please guide me ... :-(
Thank you Scylla again for the answer that helped me to make concrete decision. You had also given me feedback to my query regarding disclosure of information about student visa denial in the background declaration form. I have some more queries again-what can I do if CIC demand supporting documents against denial of student visa since it was lost 2 yrs. back. Does rejection once mean negative impact to my FSW file?scylla said:Based on ECA, you can claim 19 points. You have one post secondary degree / diploma that was 2 years.
You can do anything as per your choice. But it is recommended to staple. It does not make any difference.lionel_desouza said:Hi all,
Need some help!!! IS it alright if the application forms are stapled? or should i just attach them with plastic pins.
Actually - if you read the detailed guide you'll see that CIC tells you not to stable. You should avoid staples completely. You also cannot user binders.JSK12345 said:You can do anything as per your choice. But it is recommended to staple. It does not make any difference.
Sales executive falls under marketing and sales category but CIC considers only full time exprience. They also chek if experience is related to degree you hold.Maple Candy 2014 said:need experts advice...
During my degree education of 4 years, I worked 3 years as a part time sales executive.
So 3 years of part time is considered as 1.5 years of full time.
But my question is, Can I claim that work experience?
Does Sales Executive falls under any NOC ?
Please Guide
Thanks in advance
hmm.. I stappled when I applied last to last year and I got my CC charged however file was returned as I did not provide reference letter.. But your suggetion is logical and valuable looking at your experience..scylla said:Actually - if you read the detailed guide you'll see that CIC tells you not to stable. Got it.awilner said:1. The job title doesn't matter. If your job matches the NOC description and your main duties match the NOC, you may apply under 2232. Be prepared to supply reference letters from your employers as evidence.
My undergraduate studies is totally relevant to my job and I am going to use this education for my Education Factor. For that reason I have a concern about my overlapped work Experience.2. The fact that you took your undergraduate studies while working is irrelevant to CIC. As long as you worked full time, the full 3.9 years may be considered for work experience. Again, your reference letters must state that you worked full time.
Good luck!
I dont think it should be a problem........the guide didnt state any thing specific......just make sure u check your application for errors before sending it off.......whips said:Seniors
I'm almost ready to file my application, however my job reference letters and bank certificate are all addressed to my local visa office (same one I selected in generic form) rather than CIO/CIC. Do you think that would be a problem?
