Hi,

Thank you for the reply and I would like to rate you +1. Plz have it. In light of my student visa denial, I don't have any supporting document if this is demanded by CIC. What could be best option for this and will there be any negative impact to my FSW application b coz of rejection of student visa?

Hi just post why was your application rejected and futher any details you have so that seniors and people experienced in this scenario can suggest you on the basis to make your case much stronger.

If you feel that it is personal to discuss in the form then send PM to seniors or scylla so that they can suggest you in person.

All the best :)

FSWDev.
Pls confirm when ur courier received by CIC. Bcoz by DHL it takes 3days from toronto. UPS 1.5days.

Yes brother future_canadian I had also observed several cases whom wrote zero on asset field....But passed successfully....

CIC/ Visa officers are known about this ques that, applicants get a confused environment with this ques...So this issue becomes a minor one...

So just chill...and stay calm... ;)

I had Canadian funds of $13000+ (as I am in Canada). I left assets and Liability section blank. Just wrote $13000+ in settlement fund. I don't see any problem in that.

Hi Experts can please advise on this? Many thanks.

Is this the experience letter of your claimed NOC job or some other job that you are not claiming points for?

If its the you NOC letter then u shud send one copy of the letter as soon as possible. Although it will be hard for CIC to attach it to your application without UCI.Thats why i will also recommend sending another fresh application as well. if possible.

However, if it is some other job, then just send the experience letter and worry less because it is not that important in my opinion.

Anyone please? I hope that chances for rejection because of this error is close to zero.

I would appreciate any advise on this.

Thanks.

Many applicants done this errors and at least one applicant should have been report rejection, if it happened. You provided your name as principal applicant (1st page) and you signed at the last page. So you write your name or not, you are legally liable and your document will not become invalidate due to not writing your name at the last page. You will be OK. Relax.

@droslim

Have u included any experience letter/its copy (which has all the requirements of exp letter) of the NOC under which u r applying?

If yes, then not including the experience letter of one of the jobs, will not impact if you reach 67 points without that experience.

If answer to any of the above is NO.

Then i am afraid you have to resent the application. Try to arrange another copy of IELTS and ECA.

meanwhile, you can also send your experience letter at try your luck, but usually these documents have been ignored/returned. Most probably because the packets are opened of FIFO basis, so by the time your supplemental packet is opened your original application is already returned.

I agree. You don't need to panic just because you didn't write your name on last page. Chill.

Hi all,
New member here....applying for the dreaded 2174 NOC code....Totally missed the ECA part and now waiting for the evaluation to come back from WES. So I will apply either this year or the next (depending on how drastically the process changes next year).

I had a question about the reference letters from the previous employers: My previous employer is refusing to give me the letter required by CIC. The reference letter I have from them (read exit letter obtained when I quit) does not have "hours worked per week" and "roles and responsibilities" but I do have avail from them stating that it is not the official policy to give such 'custom' letters. Anyone in this kind of a boat ?

Also, as I understand we need too mail the application to Sydney ? Why is it necessary to mention the visa office ?

If you can't get a letter stating the duties from your employer, get one from someone such as a supervisor who was in a position to know your duties. Matching the duties with your primary NOC for at least the minimum one year, and obtaining points for your work experience overall, are the most crucial aspects of the FSW application. Self-described or self-attested duties are suspect and probably not acceptable. Without some kind of evidence of the duties of your jobs your application will almost certainly be rejected.

Why not take a chance and apply this year? Nobody knows what the process will be in the future.

Yes you must mail the application to Sydney but you must choose the local visa office that will process your application after review of basic completeness and eligibility by the Sydney office. Use this page to determine which local VO to choose on your application: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp

Good luck.
