people r becoming active in this forum after getting charged. many of them didn't enter their details even after their packages has been delivered to CIO.

@rajaram

RELAX! lets say CIC completed your application yesterday by end of the day and passed on the instruction for encashment to their bank, CIC bank would have processed the instruction today (first thing in the morning at 9:00 am) and by that time the banker in India (5:30 pm) were already enjoying their evening tea with family. So, it will be done tomorrow.

Btw its the quickest scenario, where CIC bank has direct correspondence with SBI and everyone is free to execute your transaction the moment they get it. Upto 2 corresponding banks are usually added and bankers also have backlog of work. So, even if your review was completed yesterday, it will take another 2-3 days for the DD to be encashed.

Don't forget that 1st May applications are still under process.

Congrats! Just put of curiosity, can you tell us why you waited until now to add your details on the spreadsheet? I'm just curious as to why members prefer to stay silent.

Hey guys,

Would appreciate some opinion on this.

I am currently residing working in India .... I just started toying with the idea of immigrating to a different country couple of weeks back

Discovered FSW recently and am interested in it

My most probable NOC would be 1112

I realise that this is one of the NOCs that gets filled up very quickly

I have not done any ground work till now ... absolutely nothing

Latest IELTS available slot is 19th July

Is it even worth for me to start the process given the speed with which 1112 gets filled

The cap is significantly higher this year ... can this push back the latest application date till say September October for 1112 this year

Any opinion would be appreciated ... Thanks for your time

Thanks Shah Bhai

Mine is 9.31 am. If in last 4-5 working days cicis charging files recd during first few hours of first day, we can imagine that our forum is just 0.1% of the global applicants. I fear that all calculations/ estimates of cap filling dates will go for toss

No way it's only 0.1%. Got to be at least 5%.

Hi Seniors

In New Generic form page 3, in Spouse personal details i have not provided given name exactly as mentioned in the passport. e.g i mentioned Dean Jones instead of DeanJones. Will this be ok since it is cleary mentioned in the application to provide details as mentioned in passport :(?
Hi, I too have the same problem....My name in Passport is Sabithasini, but in all the other documents, it is mentioned as Sabitha sini....Will that create a problem.

Dear members,
Question regarding settlement Funds

My brother is applying for FSW'14. He is working in canada on work permit but its not a permanent job so cant be considered as arranged employement. I want to ask whether he still need to show settlement funds although he is getting salary from canada and settled in a rented appartment.

at CIC it is mentioned that
You do not have to show that you have these funds if:
you have a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada AND
you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada.

Looking forward for someone's idea/suggestion.

Thanks

Seems he must show settlement funds, unless he can get his employer to offer him a permanent job pending FSW approval.

It can delay your aplication if Visa Officer needs clarification but chances of rejection are close to nil.. :)

Yes, we are applying seperately in 2 seperate applications. This will as well include 2 seperate fees for CIC and seperate copies of WES and IELTS. I believe applying independently in 2 NOC's seperately is possible if we make 2 seperate complete application packages. I hope I am right...Seniors please correct me if wrong.

yes you can make two separate applications to CIC

However, send to WES in different envelopes.

@ rajaram and other members here

Rajaram's views about number of people in spreadsheet .. are very pessimistic probably due to the over anxiety but we cant rule out also..
I remember I had also posted similar but not that level of pessimism involved in it , but, yes percentage
can be very low in the range of [1 to 5] % only for software 2171/2/3/4 series and Financial occupation 1111/22 etc.., as an example I gave the link example of FSW2011 and here is link again ..when seats got filled for cap of 500 for 1122 , in just one week only !!!,

https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?hl=fil&key=ta42WhwIcY6cGnGfJrt6wAw&hl=fil#gid=0

so this time people can imagine
how fast it can get filled possibly in just one week again upto 7th may only !!

But in this case nobody knew whether the program was going to open up again, and which occupations would be on the list.
