in 2011 business related NOC has only 500 cap in one category. but this year its 10000. cause this year business related NOC categories are 10. so i think except 1112 other NOCs are safe this year.
I think 2174 is the hottest category this year.

another thing here we should consider. from 2013 CIC's new rules more stringent than 2011. we have to complete ECA and new IELTS break down everything has some effect on it.

1112 people also have other alternatives they didn't have last time.

Don't scare me that my app received 7th May will not be in the cap! I'm already anxious enough!!!!!!

Congrats! Just put of curiosity, can you tell us why you waited until now to add your details on the spreadsheet? I'm just curious as to why members prefer to stay silent.

Dont know why sorry .. I guess laziness and the belief that my app would be rejected in completeness check (made some minor mistakes in filing forms and stuff), but updated the sheet now as I owed it to this forum for all the support and info.

Vivek u r absolutely rite. I was told i will get the transcripts after 25 days. But coz of special contact I got it in 4 days.

The toughest part always is to get the transcripts from Indian Univ. Once that is done, almost 70% of the job is done

Dont worry brother, no cap would have been filled till date, be realistic, 23 days to fill 300, atleast give them a month for 1000.. Mine was delivered on 23rd May, i should do a suicide in that case. lol

I did the following mistakes. My application is sent and recieved in NS.
The below mistakes are in the New Generic form
1) page 3, in Spouse personal details i have not provided given name exactly as mentioned in the passport. e.g i mentioned Dean Jones instead of DeanJones. Will this be ok since it is cleary mentioned in the application to provide details as mentioned in passport

2) In dependents details section, page 4, question no. 16 it should be my First Name and Last Name or My Spouse First Name and Last Name? I entered my Spouse First Name and Last Name. If i entered incorrect, Will this effect? if so what way?

Couple of things here guys -

1. I completed my M.B.A degree which is a 2 year course (formally), however our course was expedited and we did first 6 months in mumbai SP JAIN and 1 year in Toronto.

What should i mark in following questions -

1. Do you have Canadian education credential - i marked yes, submitting a xerox of M.B.A degree and marksheet printscreen from university, if needed i can order a transcript direct to CIC. Also attached 10th 12th and b.tech degree and marksheet xerox. NO ECA report needed.

2. Have you completed a 2 year secondary / post secondary from Canada.

I should mark yes coz it is a 2 year degree, howrver safe is NO coz i stayed there for 1 year for education however the degree is officially 2 year degree, what should i mark coz in stay information my total number of days won't go over 365 since i stayed 1 year only for study permit there.


About the job, the company i worked from 2009-2012 is not existing on same address anymore, however i know my senior who is in Infosys.

So, i have attached the following -

Xerox of -
Offer letter, relieving letter, letter of responsibilities stamped and xeroxed, SALARY stubs for 5 months

Also, i worked full time from July 2009-Dec 2011 before joining MBA working part time from Jan - July 2013. Do you think i need to get this thing mentioned somewhere, if yes where ?

I am thinking to attach a letter signed by my senior in this format -

What else should i attach with this ?

Also confirm if birth certificate should go in original or not.

Was your MBA actually granted by a Canadian institution, or a non-Canadian institution? If non-Canadian, you need an ECA.

With regard to when you were working part time or studying or whatever, you should list everything exactly as it happened. If there are overlapping time periods you can explain this in an annexure (I was working and studying simultaneously, or whatever).

Does the company you worked for still exist at all? If so you should at least try to get an official letter from them. If you can't a letter from your supervisor, who had reason to know your duties, would be second best.

Such mistakes do not qulify for rejection but you aplication processing time can increase as Visa Office might look for clarification. In your case it is very easy to understand it as human error, Chances of refusal due to this is close to nil... Cheers..

Just put whichever category you are applying under. Erase the others.
