I have filled out form IMM0008 and added my husband as dependent.

Do I need to fill the form IMM 0008DEP for my husband as well, since I have already included him in IMM0008?

No this is only if you have more dependants than can fit on the form. You can add dependants on your form up to 5 I believe.

My application reached Nova Scotia on May 26th. My NOC is 2132/Mechanical Engineering; will I be able to meet the cut?

Dear seniors,
A friend of mine residing in Pakistan has writen Visa Office as Islamabad but now he read on CIC that for Pakistan it should be London.... Is this a big mistake cause he is very worried of rejection only because of not writing Visa Office as London. He has provided each and every documents and correct form even PCC.

Last year applications were rejected because of this. Which NOC did he apply in? I would suggest preparing another application ASAP and sending it soon.

Dear Seniors,

I had applied for FSW in 2009 under NOC 2283 but the file was returned in 2010; as the NOC 2283 was not in the eligible occupation list at that time.

My question:-

Now I would like to re-apply under NOC 2173/2171 with matching duties to get the max points for experience. Please advice can I do the same as the file was returned to me with NOC 2283.
Did the CIC kept the records for the previous applications. If YES than I will not make any changes in duties of 2009-2010 and if NOT I can update the duties of 2009-2010 to match the current eligible NOC!

Please suggest!

CIC MAY still have the records. You should not do anything dishonest or that contradicts your previous application. However it is perfectly reasonable that one job can fit into 2 NOCs. So long as your employer reference letters are in order (and are HONEST and accurate), I think you should be ok.

Dear Seniors,

Am worried about my settlement fund...
i applied for family of 4 (application received at CIO on the 21-5-2014) required settlement fund 21,971 CAD

my bank statement enclosed was dated 30-4-2014 and it was equivalent to 22,923 CAD as at that time

as at today my settlement fund is equivalent to 22,332 CAD

its really fluctuating.... :(

Will this affect my application if by the time of processing my settlement fund equivalent drops below the required 21,971 CAD

Or will i be asked to provide updated settlement fund proof in a later time by the VO????

Thanks in advance

Education and Employment

Can anyone please guide me

List of all applicable documents of Education and Employment for FSW

I would be very thankful.

Please list all the documents.

Thanks a lot

If you are serious about immigrating, why not do the very basic research of what is required yourself? Come back to the forum with specific questions. Nobody is going to spoon-feed you the entire application nor should they.

CIC publishes a guide for applicants. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp

The guide has a link to the document checklist which will show you every necessary document. It also contains links to all the forms and instructions on how to determine whether you are eligible.

Good luck.

Please seniors answer my two questions:

1. In Generic Form what would be dependent type for spouse i.e. Wife? Dependent type is automatically grayed out and there is no drop down menu showing.
Is this ok?

2. I am living in UAE since 2010, in q(12b) Previous countries of residence, i am having error in typing date. When i am trying to type the date that's mentioned in my residence permit(i.e. From: Oct-2010 To: Oct 2014) its giving error that "MUST BE EQUAL OR LESS THAN TODAY'S DATE".
Did anyone faced similar situation? What to do then?

1.Yes...its normal

2.The date you picked (Oct,2014) is 4 months away so the form will not accept the date.
If you mean to write till date, there are two ways to achieve it...either you print it out and use black pen to write "till date"
You may also use computer to select the current month you are filling the form....if you filling today, you will fill May,2014.

Cheers!

You should/will be fine.
They will understand its the currency exchange that is causing the fluctuation.

No it will not be a problem as long as you are providing the salary detailed documents like salary slips ...offer letter etc.
