Hi,

If I dont have a Municipal certificate for date of birth can I submit my School Leaving Certificate which mentions date of birth and name of parents?

Does SSC records mean marksheet only or school leaving certificate (10th Std) issued by the school is also fine?

Thank you for the answer. I am sure that you will get a copy of IELTS after 14 working days from the date of payment received. I think, you need to wait for two more days to get it. I have a query again, how did you approach to British Council for another copy of IELTS? I mean.. did you submit an application stating you lost your report or you followed any other way ?

Your reply will be admired.

I told them the truth that I applied for PR canada but was returned and was lost too. so i want new copy. They told me that what ever your reason is you must bring copy of IELTS, copies of passport and police report for the lost IELTS. I gave them all along with the application and after 9 working days, they told me to come and pay the fee. After that its 12 working days now . Today when i asked them they are saying that i will be getting probably on thursday.

they don't update the cap reached details on website?

my application documents will be ready by 15th of June 2014 .. i am not sure if i would stand a chance by then?

Thanks Ashif_eee.

Guys, in India which Bank would make the DD in CADs, ICICI/Axis ? Looking for quick input so that I go to the right bank. And would any other document be also required with the DD I mean something like a currency conversion certificate or something?

Another quick question, in the form IMM5669E Question 5, I believe the surname of the mother should be the one she was using before getting married. How about the Given name of mother in that section, should it be the name before she got married or the one after she got married if they are different?

Hey Guys

Any inputs on the above query please, I need to complete filling this form.

They say it will refreshed every week but that is not the case based on the past experience. I heard that last year it was updated sometime around mid of June.

The below quote has been taken from FSW2013 forum. I think, it will satisfy your query.

We have two members in the spreadsheet (sandy1985 and amit80203, both indians)
They both submitted 10th standard marksheet in lieu of birth certificate which was accepted by cic and they already had their cc charged

An Observation:
Based on last year CAP update from 16th Oct to 1st Nov'13, CIC had processed 341 application (2242 to 2583) in 13 working days. CIC capacity is 26 application per day. So Per week they can process 130
For FSW'14 I can see 182 application CIC received from 1st may to 7th May. Global application is 3times higher, 3*182 = 546.
Now finding till when May 7th application will be processed. 546/130 = 4.2 week from today..
So, CIC can clear till May7th application on 20th Jun.

On the other hand, CIC has to handle 25,000 application till Dec'31st.
So, Jun to Dec - 7months = 30weeks.
If CIC process as per last year speed i.e., 130 per week. they can able to clear only 130*30 = 3900.
In conclusion, CIC should have strategy to increase their capacity. Calculation not matching - Any other view friends.

Hello Seniors
When translating my nepali citizenship with no. क २३४५, The notary assigned it to be A 2345 (क is the first alphabet in devanagiri script and accordingly he assigned A which is first in english ). But my passport and police clearance certificate has KA 2345 as citizenship no.
Does it impact - the numbers are same its just the alphabet that is making a difference, do i need to re-do translations /notarization?

Can you add the letter "K" before "A" with the typewriter :P :P? If not possible, I think, re-do translations/notarization because A equals to not क - it will at least give you mental peace.

Surname of the mother is her maiden name....surname before marriage.
Other names should be the same......other names for women is always the same for a life time(atleast in my country),its only the surname that changes after getting married.
