Also I have few queries regarding the generic form :

1. On the section Education/occupation detail:

Current Occupation should be the title of my current position?

Intended occupation should be the occupation title with NOC?

2. Also when I validate the generic form on page 4 of 5 many bar codes are generated. This one should be on top of the form?

Also on page 5 of 5 there are two bar codes on top of the consent and declaration section. Is it normal?

The bank draft should be made in favor of "The Receiver general for Canada" or "Receiver General for Canada"?

former looks better ....but I think "The" does'nt matter much.....'coz I think in Guide or Checklist it is with "The" and on the Payment Form it is without "The" ...or vice versa.....

Hi All,

One query, Is it mandatory to provide offer letter and pay slip from previous companies . I had soft copy of those but unfortunately those papers are not available now. In recent company i have been working for last 3 years and i have the offer letter and payslip for current one.

No, its optional...If u dont have then submit with the existing papers....Its better to make strong ur employment papers...so not mandatory ...

Yes u r right bro...does not matter...since the final submitted doc is the Fee payment form along with ur application package (not the guide) --thats why "The Receiver general for Canada" is preferable from my side...

Dear Max09,

1. Yes u can do that...but affidavit is not required when u submit the cover letter+ Secondary school records..

2. Yes translation is required, and notary translation is accepted by CIC...

3. U can use DD or CC if wish...

But DD has better reliability in terms of CIC transaction....But if ur CC has transaction authority u may proceed with that one also...

Guys, in India which Bank would make the DD in CADs, ICICI/Axis ? Looking for quick input so that I go to the right bank. And would any other document be also required with the DD I mean something like a currency conversion certificate or something?

Another quick question, in the form IMM5669E Question 5, I believe the surname of the mother should be the one she was using before getting married. How about the Given name of mother in that section, should it be the name before she got married or the one after she got married if they are different?

Nobody can realistically predict your chances.....but I'll like to believe you will surely be in the cap if you apply early enough.

1. for point 7 education section
I have completed 1 year masters, 4 year bachelors , Bangladesh standard SSC, HSC

So in the box elementary /Primary school = 5 years
Secondary /high School= 7 years
university /college= 5 years
Trade school/other post secondary school = Blank

is the above information correct according to Bangladesh education standard?

Hello Seniors
I have my citizenship, marriage and migration certificates in nepali. I get them translated to english by a notary authorized to carry on translation.
For sending to CIC, I then got all of them(photocopy of nepali versions & notarized english versions both) attested by another notary.
The notary has his licence details like till when he is authorized to attest, name signature and other details.
But I lack a separate affidavit from translator/notary ? Is it necessary?
