Hello Seniors
I have my citizenship, marriage and migration certificates in nepali. I get them translated to english by a notary authorized to carry on translation.
For sending to CIC, I then got all of them(photocopy of nepali versions & notarized english versions both) attested by another notary.
The notary has his licence details like till when he is authorized to attest, name signature and other details.
But I lack a separate affidavit from translator/notary ? Is it necessary?

No brother u need not any affidavit for the English conversion....

U are absolutely ok with the translation and Notarized of original doc's copy...:)

This will give you better Idea.

The Education System
The Indian education system is structured as follows:

Pre-school: Education at this level is not compulsory. The Montessori system is especially popular at the pre-school level
Private playschools: Catering for children between the ages of 18 months and three
Kindergarten: This is divided into lower kindergarten (for three- to four-year-olds) and upper kindergarten (for four- to five-year-olds)
Primary school: First to fifth standard/class/grade (for six- to ten-year-olds)
Middle school: Fifth to eighth standard/class/grade (for 11- to 14-year-olds)
Secondary school: Ninth and tenth standard/class/grade (for 14- to 16-year-olds)
Higher secondary or pre-university: 11th and 12th standard/class/grade (for 16- to 17-year-olds). This is when students choose an academic area on which to focus
Undergraduate: A BA is a three-year degree. Specialised courses such as medicine and engineering can be longer
Postgraduate: A one-year course

Hi,

If I dont have a Municipal certificate for date of birth can I submit my School Leaving Certificate which mentions date of birth and name of parents?

Does SSC records mean marksheet only or school leaving certificate (10th Std) issued by the school is also fine?

Regards

Or something else.

Hi,

Any valid notary public are authorized to carry out translation and attestation. However, same person is not required for attestations and translations. A document translated by one notary public can be notarized by another notary public.

The Receiver general for Canada(CIC Document checklist)......its fine
Receiver General for Canada(CIC instruction sheet)......its fine
Cheers!

Dear Kollins, actually both on document checklist and instruction sheet it is Receiver general for canada

But on the payment form it is THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA

So confusing...

Hello Seniors
When translating my nepali citizenship with no. क २३४५, The notary assigned it to be A 2345 (क is the first alphabet in devanagiri script and accordingly he assigned A which is first in english ). But my passport and police clearance certificate has KA 2345 as citizenship no.
Does it impact - the numbers are same its just the alphabet that is making a difference, do i need to re-do translations /notarization?

Brother already answered....

former looks better ....but I think "The" does'nt matter much.....'coz I think in Guide or Checklist it is with "The" and on the Payment Form it is without "The" ...or vice versa.....

Yes u r right bro...does not matter...since the final submitted doc is the Fee payment form along with ur application package (not the guide) --thats why "The Receiver general for Canada" is preferable from my side...:)

Sorry...had too many things in my head....i swapped instruction for the form.
Like I said both are same and will be accepted.
PERSONALLY,I used "RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA"......and it was fine because my application went through positively.

Hi Seniors,

Can anyone please share their reference letter for NOC 1123.
The jobs and duties mentioned in HRSDC site is so confusing.

Would really appreciate this, you can also send it as an IM if don't want to send in the Forum.

Thanks in advance.
