My application reached to CIO on 9th May. Just curious to know 1 thing. I made a spelling mistake in Generic Form of spouse section in Intended Occupation and Current Occupation in hurry. Actual Designation is Business Analyst and by mistake I filled Bussiness Analyst.

I hope due to this they will not reject whole application.

I don't think there is any requirement from WES that says that the transcript should come directly from university. As long as the transcripts are in University sealed envelope, the candidate can collect the sealed envelope from University and courier to WES.

I think its different for each country.

In a nut shell...applicants should check their school and be sure of how WES wants it.

CIC is less concerned by your designation.
They are more concerned about your Job descriptions and responsibilities.
Its not a reason for rejection or denial.

Hi, i have one question regarding to Statutory Declaration.

As my employer is not willing to provide letter with my job duties and responsibilities, i am planning to do Statutory Declaration from the colleague where i am working.

My question is that:

Do i need to mention the Salary? According to the company's policy, we can't disclose the salary with company staff.And if i mention the salary we may have some issue in future, so i am not planning to mention that part in SD.
So, would that be fine or is that compulsion to mention the salary?

Also, do i need to send salary slips from past employer as well?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

CIC will consider your work experience of 3 and half years (which I believe you mean 3 years and 6 months) as well your later work experience of 7 months provided it is in a profession/occupation designated as Skill level A, B or O. You can check this from the CIC website.

Dear Experts,

Have below question pls reply as per the best knowledge you have!

1. Form “IMM5406E” need to fill by all the dependents above the age of 18 separately? i.e. 1 form from me as an Applicant and another form from my spouse as an Applicant. Please suggest!
2. Also need to add the name in both the forms in native language under the name in English in the box? Pls suggest
3. Assets - We have an agriculture land on my father's name (For God's grace is fine n healthy) however to get the transfer of land on my name its a long process with lot of amount spending in India. Is there any way out that I can show the same Assets in Canadian dollars in my Application?
4. Another question regarding the Children, we have 2 children studying in 5 and 1 classes respectively. Do we need to take any certificate from the school to add the application? what should I mention in the form i.e. under Education/Occupation details? seconday or less with 5 and 1 years respectively. Pls suggest!
5. How to fill online and save the “Supplementary Information of Travels”, I have acrobat 11 and it does not allow to save the filled form!

Previous WORK EXP (2173) - Contract - Certificate of Employment but no Job Details - 5 months EXP

Will my application get rejected due to lack of Job Duties on my previous Work Exp, but I am not claiming it.
I applied under NOC 2281.

Hello Friends,

On Form IMM 5669 - Sch A Background Declaration, Q 5 with respect to Personal details of Mother.

Form asks to provide " Family name at birth " of mother.

What shall I put current family name ?

Experts advice please.

It's simple. Family name at birth. No the current family name of your mom. Means family name of maternal grandparent.

since i m govt employee, can i show employees' provident fund as liquid assets besides savings account and fds??
if not, can i borrow money from my mother and show it anyways??

I couldn’t infer from the CIC guidelines that whether real estate assets can be considered as Proof of Funds and liability. As evident below, I have a mortgage as a liability but I have 2 houses as well and couldn’t show only as liability. If my application is successful, I am planning to sell both my properties and settle in Canada.

Should i show house details as i heard in INdia they dont take it as asset but I should not end up showing only as liabilty ..I was not going to show these till yday but not i got confused after seeing new threads and i have shown property for NSNP prog for which I m not going to be nominated as i was too late.
