I'm not a senior here, but can tell you that in all likelihood your application will make it so go ahead and shoot..good luck.

Try your level best to send it ASAP, hopefully u will be able to make it. There is no harm in trying. Keep in mind that UPS has fastest delivery time from most of the countries (except for few complaints)

As a general rule, this forum represents 20% of the total applicants (for tech savy professions e.g Egineering, Comp Sc., and Finance), so until applications reach 200+ you have a fair chance to make it to the cap. Even at 300 or 400 you may have a chance to make it.

Do double check accuracy of your application, specially dates and signatures before sending.

hey seniors.... i need ur views... is it mandatory to send a explanation letter to CIC regarding not submitting the PCC while sending the file??

explanation letter is not mandatory; but its good idea - if you can mention in the cover letter that you couldn't include the PCC now, but will be able to provide them whenever requested by cio.

My ECA completed from WES today and it has mentioned that "Evaluation Report 2 copies sent by International Express Date Sent: May 13, 2014"; i searched entire web-page but no tracking details found. I have opted international express delivery option. can anyone able to give me piece of mind on ths situation ?

I also wanted to bring to notice, that a person called Collin has signed my package. But there is no one reflecting with the name of Collin in our spread sheet.
When I called the UPS I got to know that they have changed the address to 47 Dorchester street instead of 49, which is the other side of the building when i saw virtual visuals on google map..

I consulted a lawyer and he told me that most applications are rejected because the reference letters are not written properly. Is that true? Do you know a lawyer or is someone willing to go through my reference letter to give me some advice. I want to do things properly but I feel like the lawyer is scaring me and will tell me anything just to get me to hire him.

Did you guys hire a lawyer?

Not at all necessary to hire a lawyer if you know complete process and can go through points given in CIC website. It's not a big deal.

Wait for a day. You will get tracking details there in delivery tab only.

They are sending with UPS so won't take more than 4-5 days.

i'm a little bit skeptic about consultants. i believe that anyone who has nerves and knowledge to make such change in its life (as if to move to CA and start its life all over again) and to be eligible for this program, is able to fill out an application. therefore, my standpoint is DO NOT HIRE ANYONE TO FILL OUT YOUR INFO! however, this is just me, and i am not trying to force anyone to do anything. CIC did at least ONE good job - and that is to provide a detailed description on how to fill out forms, what is mandatory, what is not, what needs to be included in the application, what does not need to be included now, but will be mandatory later on in a process, which documents need to be original, which one you can send copies only... so, all you need to do is to take time, read thoroughly, and have someone you trust, read and check your application after you are done. two pairs of eyes are always better than one. good luck and have patience (patience is not my virtue, but i heard is a good one! )

Very unusual. First time someone reported this of changing address. I have found in a site that courier address is:
CPC-Sydney
47 - 49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2

Hope it will be fine. Still ask the courier why they have delivered in different address?

[size=10pt][size=10pt]Forumites....guess i should try and open the floodgates of PERS for FSW 2014 applicants......don't be carried away....I actually belong to 2013 FSW but I have a form of attachment to 2014 FSW applicants.
I just got my PERS mail notification for my third application which was received on the 24th April,2014.
1st application was returned(on 27th january,2014) because of payment issues......yet to get my application back but I guess its my credit card that have issues with them.
2nd application was returned(on 4th April,2014) because my application " was deemed incomplete".....I'm yet to get it back.....but i later noticed some typo error in my background declaration form plus some irregularities in dates for my spouse.
Third application received on 24th was successful!
It took 20 days!
