1 more question.

My maternal aunt is a Permanent Resident of Canada. Being aged, she is not employed anywhere. The only docs availabe with her are PR card and birth certificate.

Are these 2 docs enough to earn 5 points under "relative in canada" category?

Thanks in advance

Well 22 and 28 months are the maximum time for processing..

What i have seen is people got PR after 8 months at VO ..

If all documents required are submitted in one shot.. and that too with accuracy and being the 1st amongst other applicants, definitely we can get it soon.

Thanks for the good news. +1 for making me feel better.

I am a civil engieer & my wife is physiotherapist. We have compile all the documents, credential evulation has also been completed. But just because of this bull*censored word* IELTS i am not able to forward the application. First time i appeared in the month of march & got 5.5 band in writing, my wife has appeared in april she got 5.5 in listening. I again did the exam on 10-May & result will be expected by 23-May. My wife will appeare again at 21-June.
My question will capacity availabe by first week of July?
We hava chance to put the application for following 3 occupations. (1) •0711 Construction managers (2) •2131 Civil engineers (3) •3142 Physiotherapists. Are these occupations are hot in demand?
Will someone share the knowledge and experience that these categories will open till month of july???
Thanks in advance....

At least one other document is necessary to show proof of residency.
Notice of assessment / mobile bill/ lease agreement. atleast one... is essential. Else proof of residence will not be established and you will not get points for relationship

@sameer,

On the forum guys help here each other with their best knowledge/ understanding, however, no body can be considered Expert on all/ any particular issue. Your query can be best be answered by ECA reports. Suggest, you to get your ECA done by say, WES as they are Authorised for this job and ECA report will say exactly how much points you can get. !

Actually my wife had 1 back log in graduation in 2006, without clearing that she join post graduate diploma in healthcare management from Dr. Reddys Foundation from year 2006 to 2007 (1 year Diploma). In 2007 we got married and only in 2010 she cleared that backlog and completed her graduation. As you mention she is entitled for 21 points only, if we add this diploma will it be any changes in points and will they consider this post graduate diploma as this is not after her graduation. Although now she is pursuing MSC from distance but not completed yet. I am worried due to lack of points and getting ielts CLB 8 its quite difficult.

Your reply is highly appreciated. If any one else to want reply much more appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,

@sameer4108

You have to get that diploma evaluated by ECA.

Try to understand, the points for education are NOT as per YOUR/YOUR UNIVERSITY's PERCEPION or WHAT IS WRITTEN ON YOUR DEGREE/DIPLOMA.

So, get it evaluated by ECA and lets see what they evaluate. Remember, the fee and time for getting all the degrees evaluated will be the same (unless one of the institues take additional time to respond and you can always request the intitute to reply immediatly.

These two documents prove that she is canadian residents only. To proof that she is your relative, apart from her birth certificate, your mother's birth certificate is also required to show you maternal grand father is their common father. I also assume that, your birth certifate got your mother name.

Now, you have to prove that she is currently living at Canada. For this, you provide some billing details of her like credit card bills, water bills, telephone bilss where in the bills her name and address is there. The bill should not be 6 month older when reach CIC.

Notice of assessment is like Income tax statement in India. Everyone gets it.

Even bank statement will be a proof of residence. She must be having a bank account ??

According to the below para for getting 22, post-graduate diploma is required. I suggest, get it assessed by WES. If they assess as postgraduate diploma, you can claim 22 points.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/ECA_table_EN.pdf
A 3 year or more post-secondary credential in combination with any of the post-secondary educational credentials** listed below. This excludes secondary school credentials.
**Note: Post-secondary educational credentials could also include Post-Bachelor's or Post-Graduate Credentials as follows: Post-Bachelor's Certificate; Post-Bachelor's Diploma; Graduate Certificate; Postgraduate certificate; Postgraduate Diploma; a two-year Postgraduate Diploma, specializing in [name of discipline]; a one-year Postgraduate Certificate in [name of discipline]; and, Study Toward a Master's Degree.

Dear, Century Thank you very much for your reply,

But then again it is acquired before her graduation still it consider post graduate? and will WES accept to do equivalency? What should I submit to them BSC degree and Diploma? Should I need to pay for both? Will it be a matter as my wife did not completed her graduation in 2006 instead she completed in 2010

Please reply

Thanks and Best regards,
