Hi All

Hope your application preparations are coming along nicely.

I have a question: Suppose I have the following for father's place of birth on Schedule A: "Town 1, City" but on the Additional Family Information, it is noted as: "City, State/Province, Country" (notice Town 1 is left off), would this be grounds for return of the application by CIC for inconsistency/incompleteness, especially as "Town 1" is not even noted on the second Form?

Actually I've tried both with business days and calendar days. With business days the results are less scattered and more consistent. With calendar days the values just become more scattered (because the CIO is closed on weekends and because of delays in customs on weekends), but the result is still the same, UPS appears to be the fastest service.

I've a query regarding the Origin- Location/ Country of the Application. say, sending it from US or UK or Asia Pac will take diff time/ days (in the ascending order) just because of its proximity to Canada (ON or NS). So clubbing all App from all over the globe for the given agencies wont be an apple to apple comparison !

A note on the "Weekend": I think Weekends can be utilised if the shipment is 'In-transit'. However, if a Weekend is involved in the Origin or Destination then it may result in delays. For eg if the packey is booked on late Fri or Sat then chances are that it won't depart the home country until Mon. Similarly, if the packet reaches Sydney NS on/after Fri afternoon, it wont be delivered to CIO until the following Mon (in AM).

You said they corrected it, was it returned to you without being processed?

The first is Schedule A - Background Declaration Form
The other is the Additional Family Information Form

To clarify even further, Schedule A asks for "Town/City of birth" on Schedule A, however, the Additional Family Information Form only asks for "Place of birth". I am the one who answered it the way I stated below in the Quote.

IMM0008 Generic Form, in page 3 of 5

in # (3) Current Occupation- should I write my Job title which appears in my COE even if the title is not in the list of under particulare NOC but the job description is similar.

(4) Intended occupation- What will I write? The whole description in NOC? like if NOC 1112? Financial and Investment Analyst or Investment Analyst only? if I am just referring to one occupation?

How long does DHL take to deliver the application to CIC after the status reads departed from Ontorio Service Area? I found somewhere that it takes more than 2days. Other people who have sent please advice.

should i write bachelor degree or i would write what Wes evaluate my credential. ?

That is the reason they ask for WES assessment, equivalent canadian education. They will consider what is assessed in WES report.
