I contacted WES regarding the same issue. and this is what I heard back:

"Thank you for your e-mail. Usually WES recommends your higher education to be evaluated. However, after you have submitted your documents and they have been reviewed by our evaluation team, if it is necessary WES might ask you to submit additional documents. Before our evaluation team review the documents, we cannot confirm whether you need to submit your Bachelor education credential or not."

It is the same price if you evaluate one or both. So, if you have your bachelors documents ready, I suggest you send them as well.

HTH!

Both my fren.. both.. as you will want to claim points for both your bachelor's degree as well as the master's degree. So u will get 2 points more for the masters.
Get both evaluated. The report generated by WES will be a single report which will have one page of evaluation comments for both.

Hope this helps..

Cheers.

Yes. That is another benefit. The price for evaluation package is the same. So why not get everything evaluated as per Canadian standards for future use? No harm in it..

There is a small correction. He can claim points for either one, but not both. Master's (which obviously includes bachelors) or just bachelors. WES decides that.

I guess you were trying to say the same thing.

Hello fellas,

I have applied under the FSW 2014, along with my spouse (as a dependent)

I am afraid that I might have mentioned wrong DOB on his pictures. :-X

Could that be a problem? Im worried sick!
I think the name and dob at the back is helpful for them to identify the owner in case the pics are misplaced.. otherwise it wont matter. Information on forms is what matters.. even if thrs a typo, they verify and correct it on their own..they did for me last year (cap reached sk no luck). so chill. Good luck!

Many prospective applicants are asking abt which degree shud they get evaluated (Bachelors or Both), while every1 knows that price is same but obviosuly they want to save on time spent in collecting BS docs.

Keep in mind that the purpose of evaluation is to judge Canadian Equivalent of UR highest degree. By default (specially in India & Pakistan) Master's (16 yrs edu) is equal to Candian Bachelor's (16 yr edu). If thats your case I don't see any reason of attaching Bachelor's degree (if it requires extra time in collecting docs).

But if your Master's is 18 yr degree, then you need to provide Bachelor's degree to prove that u have 4 yrs bachelor's and 2 yrs master degree, only in this case they will award you MASTER EQUIVALENT. Also, if ur master's university has admission criteria of 4 yr Bachelor provide the proof (Link to Website and Document request form filled by the University).

Again, if you achieve threshold (67 marks) with Bachelor's equivalent and ur NOC's educational requirements are Bachelor's, then you can submit only ur Master's degree if it saves time. But, in this case, do not try to prove that your Master's is equivalent to Canadian Master's as otherwise WES will ask for additional docs which will delay.

Net net, its very subjective depending on the your required point from Education, Time required in colleccting Bachelor's docs, HOTNESS of ur NOC, and education requirement of ur NOC.

I am afraid, it might be too late, you can consider ICAS a sunk cost and submit to WES once again.

How do I do that? I already sent the papers to my university.

No way! Income is to prove that your job experience is a paid experience. Doesn't matter if it is low.

Hi All

Hope your application preparations are coming along nicely.

I have a question: Suppose I have the following for father's place of birth on Schedule A: "Town 1, City" but on the Additional Family Information, it is noted as: "City, State/Province, Country" (notice Town 1 is left off), would this be grounds for return of the application by CIC for inconsistency/incompleteness, especially as "Town 1" is not even noted on the second Form?

what kind of form are you using, i think on the form it is town/city, last year i wrote the city of my birthplace, but cio corrected it as the name of province. i think it should be the same as what is shown on your passport. so this year

You said they corrected it, was it returned to you without being processed?

The first is Schedule A - Background Declaration Form
The other is the Additional Family Information Form

To clarify even further, Schedule A asks for "Town/City of birth" on Schedule A, however, the Additional Family Information Form only asks for "Place of birth". I am the one who answered it the way I stated below in the Quote.

can you put me through how to fill the fees payment fom if I am using my spouse's credit card. There's a place for principal applicant name, name of payer, name of cardholder and signature of cardholder.
Thanks
