Thanks, then I'll expect answer from experts too.

According to CIC, if you have atleat 1 year of continous experience in any of the eligible NOCs, you can apply. So Yes, you can apply 2173.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp#eg72b
"You must have at least one year of continuous full-time, paid work experience (or the equivalent in continuous part-time work) in the primary occupation you specify in your application."

hi

1. Will it be too late if we submit the application in August. My wife will be primary applicant her occupation is Dietitian (3132)

2. Is it advisable to have her passport reissued with a new name (post marriage) as she will be the primary applicant.

Plz advise..

Seniors Plz advise..

Thank you guys!!!

So, that means, if I have 3.5 years of working experience in 2173 and I have been working for last 2 years under 2174, then I can apply under 2173 and will be assessed for all my 5.5 years of experience.

But another question how many points can I get from my experience ?
From the chart, 4-5 years can bring 13 points and 6 years or more can bring 15 points. But there is no information about 5-6 years of experience (which is my actual range).
Can I get 14 points ?

Thanks.

I'm planning to apply for canada PR. I'm planning to write IETLS exam on may17.Is it too late if i submit my application after i get the results ?
I'm in US and have 11 years experience as Software Developer.
Can one apply under multiple occupations ?
When do you think the limit will reach for IT occupations?

Thanks a lot guys!!

Our test is May 17 as well. When we get the results we will check the CRA website. If cap is not full we will just mail our application.
Nobody knows how fast it will fill so just try and pray.
If we are too late, we still have Express Entry next year.
Good luck!!!!

Hi All,

Do we have to cross the empty boxes on the checklist?

thanks

Need advice regarding NOC match & job description:

I'd like to apply under NOC 1114: 'Other financial officers' as 'account manager'

But the problem is: unlike other job titles in NOC 1114, they have not provided any job description for 'account manager'.
I mean, on the page for NOC 1114, there is job descriptions for few other titles, bt not for the title 'account manager'.
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/Profile.aspx?val=1&val1=1114

I want to know the job description for title 'account manager' (which should be acceptable to CIC).
workingincanada.gc.ca doesnt have any description abt it.

Can any one advice me on what to do ? How can I be sure that I'm applying under the correct NOC ?

Thanks in advance

hi my application was received and signed by Mike (may 7 at 13:57). pls update my info in the spreadsheet :) noc 3012. thanks
