Your question isn't silly.
There is likelihood that it will be needed.
Just confirm from your intended school of choice to be sure of what they need on ECA evaluation.

What if I submit program evaluation report + transcript + Graduation Letter + Graduation Certificate from college?? Will that work?

I had applied last year for FSWP 2013 in NOC Category 2147 but my application was unfortunately returned back as the Cap for 2147 NOC was already reached. CIC had assigned me an UID number on my last year's application when they returned the same to me with a note stating that they were unable to process my application since the Cap was already reached for NOC 2147.

Last year, under work experience (Schedule 3 Form), I had shown 7+ years experience (2006-2013) in NOC 2147 (as my primary intended occupation) and 3+ years experience (2002-2005) in 2174 NOC category. Out of these 3+ years work experience in NOC 2174, I had worked in Canada for 1 year (2004-2005) in 2174 (as Computer Programmer).

Unfortunately, this year NOC 2147 is no longer available in the list of Eligible Occupations, but NOC 2174 - Computer Programmer is still available.

My question is, in my last year's FSWP application, since I had shown some 3+ years experience in NOC 2174 (although it was not my primary occupation), will I be able to again apply for FSWP this year (2014) under this new NOC 2174 Category? In other words, can I apply under a different NOC category this year since CIC already knows that I had applied for some other NOC category last year?

Your advice will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Dear Friend

As long as you don't change your Background declaration (re-check the form) and you have 1yr specified NCO exp. out of 10years you can apply.

Though' your appl. returned Once you had received UCI all your data with CIC. Do not change any thing.

All the best.

Hi,

I have 2 queries relating to Adaptability points & Work experience:

1) My wife's grandmother's real brother is a Canadian citizen for over 30 years. Is this relationship come under as "Uncle" to claim 5 points for Adaptability.

Also, my father's first cousin (sister) is a Canadian citizen for over 30 years. Can i claim 5 Adaptability points for this if relationship come under as "Aunt".

2) I am 70 points but afraid to get some point deduction on Work Experience side as I am unable to get reference letter from my employers , still trying. However, I have all other job related documents in place. Getting IELTS done by spouse could be very late as NOC 1112 is HOT i guess. So please review my eligibility and advise if its ok to apply:

A) Age: 31+ = 12 points
B) Qualification : 23 ( Awaiting WES report for MBA)
C) My IELTS : L 7.5, S 7, R 6.5, W 6, Overall 7: Points 20
D) Work Experience: 8.5 years - 15 points (if reference letters does't create an issue)
Job 1- 1 yr 6 M; Job 2 - 3 Y 4 M; Job 3: 1 Yr 5 M ; Job 4 ( Current)- 1 yr 10 M till now

Apologies for a long query, but i hope u can understand my situation :-\. Thanks for help

Folks!
I have a question with regards to Canadian work experience under the adaptability section. I gained one month of full time work experience when I was a student in Canada. Can I include that as part of my Canadian work experience under adaptability? I have read the operational manual and the CIC website, and I have not found specific information which says work experience gained as a full time student cannot be included to gain points under adaptability.
Please advise, thanks!

No, it will not be considered. Min. 1 year exp is required under full time paid worker.

Dear, i have a question with regard to your above statement as i have a UCI #, app was returned due to cap limit.

Can't i modify/change and highlight, mention job description that i did not do in my last year app under NOC 2147 ....to let it suite more to NOC 2281 ??

I am a bit confused now as i have prepared everything to apply under 2281.

Age, IELTS is ok, But WES result defines your qual. points and all your Job letter should have the job responsibilities related to NOC with full time, salary confirmation. Otherwise those period will not be considered.

Age : 28 years

I like your name Bro...Everybody here chasing light too.....

Be positive bro...it all depends on the NOC you are applying......last year few NOCs were not filled till today and few were getting filled till now....

So be positive, worst case you will have IELTS handy for the subsequent Applications....

Thanks Sathyam. Well this is the last year for the FSW but thanks for the encouragement will try to be more positive. I'm am going under the 0015 NOC which seems rather broad. Thanks again

I don't understand why I need to do evaluation from some institute for Canadian equivalency if I completed my 3 years Advance diploma in Canada itself. It doesn't make any sense.

My original question was that If I have Canadian Advance diploma what I have to submit too prove it?
What if I submit program evaluation report + transcript + Graduation Letter + Graduation Certificate from college?? Will that work?

Hi people. Does anybody know if there's any chance of the Federal govt fees to change this year? Also, are you all waiting for May 4th to see if the forms are going to change? So confused about what to do...
