What if someone has never visited the country again? For example, one was lived in country X for 1 year and then never visited that country again but obtained PCC before leaving the country.ashif_eee said:IELTS valid-2yrs
PCC :
ur PCC submission validity is Three months. So when u want to submit ur PCC u should consider the date is not over three month from the issuing day.
Though PCC validity is One year but submission validity is Three months

I have 2 queries relating to Adaptability points & Work experience:
1) My wife's grandmother's real brother is a Canadian citizen for over 30 years. Is this relationship come under as "Uncle" to claim 5 points for Adaptability.
Also, my father's first cousin (sister) is a Canadian citizen for over 30 years. Can i claim 5 Adaptability points for this if relationship come under as "Aunt".
2) I am 70 points but afraid to get some point deduction on Work Experience side as I am unable to get reference letter from my employers , still trying. However, I have all other job related documents in place. Getting IELTS done by spouse could be very late as NOC 1112 is HOT i guess. So please review my eligibility and advise if its ok to apply:
A) Age: 31+ = 12 points
B) Qualification : 23 ( Awaiting WES report for MBA)
C) My IELTS : L 7.5, S 7, R 6.5, W 6, Overall 7: Points 20
D) Work Experience: 8.5 years - 15 points (if reference letters does't create an issue)
Job 1- 1 yr 6 M; Job 2 - 3 Y 4 M; Job 3: 1 Yr 5 M ; Job 4 ( Current)- 1 yr 10 M till now
Apologies for a long query, but i hope u can understand my situation :-\. Thanks for help
Where are you from?chasinglight said:I want to apply under the federal skilled worker program but I haven't done the CELPIP or IELTS and I can't do it in the country I currently live in so i would have to buy a plane ticket to fly somewhere else to do the test. I'm scared that by the time I get the results that the cap will be filled for my NOC and I would have wasted tons of money. Does it even make sense to try since 1000's of people probably have all their documents ready to submit already? I probably won't be able to submit my application until May 30th
I have a similar issue. I stayed in a country for 3 years. Now I am back to my home country.jianada55 said:What if someone has never visited the country again? For example, one was lived in country X for 1 year and then never visited that country again but obtained PCC before leaving the country.
Now do we need to obtain PCC again? Isnt it ridiculous?
thanks Goalcanada. Appreciate if u can share your thoughts on point 1 as well.goalcanada said:Age, IELTS is ok, But WES result defines your qual. points and all your Job letter should have the job responsibilities related to NOC with full time, salary confirmation. Otherwise those period will not be considered.
1. Yes u can write on ur pen for the form u mentioned.tknova said:I have a couple of questions regarding filling of forms.
1) Are we allowed to fill in the forms by hand ? I am talking about the Background Declaration and Economic Class (IMM0008_3e) and Background Declaration (IMM5669E). Some of the text cannot be filled by typing as it is too long for example my job title.
2) What do you do when you have extra information. For example in personal history I need one more row. Guide says print same page again and fill it but Background Declaration (IMM5669E) says add an additional page in the end, with your name and form number and question number. Little confusing.
Thanks guys for all your help here in the forum !!!
Yes I went through it but was little confused, and didn't wanted to take risk because without ECA report they will return application back. Thanks though.ashif_eee said:No brother Goku u need not include ECA at all...Just submit ur post secondary course cert+trnscrpt/marksheet...

So for :
1. U should not eligible for adaptability...I cant see u r having that relation.
2. Yes menioned points seems to be ok...
Good luck...
goalcanada said:No, it will not be considered. Min. 1 year exp is required under full time paid worker.
No can2174 brother,....It need to have on the declared NOC...can2174 said:There is a lot of confusion on schedule 3 form. 12a asks for one of your occupations that you intend to apply for ( this must be one from list of 50) and expeirence under this occupation will be used to assign points.
12b asks for list of occupations that you have worked so far ( one of occupation in this list must be 12a).It is not mabdatory that all occupations in the list must be from 50 NOC list.
Please correct me if iam wrong.
Also in generic form there is question for current occupation and intended occupation. Current is the NOC u r working currently and inrended is the one for which you wish to apply.
No ...since u were staying on US for last three yrs ..And will require to stay one yr atleast...Not to have 1 yr's VISA....anusud said:damn, didn't realize New York was closed, thanks for letting me know!!!. How do find out which is the nearest processing center??, from the IMM5612E document Sathyam refereed, it says if we are applying outside our home country we should have a visa for at least a year. If I choose CPP - Ottawa I shd have Canadian visa with me?
Its a little confusing.
Thanks
