1)Bank certificate showing the fund you have on the date issued is okay for the application stage....but if you can afford the statement of account,it is better as they may not asked for an update of you fund later.with bank certificate, there is every likelihood of them asking for an update of you fund as the processes progresses.
2)I stand to be corrected....I'm not sure they are empower to verify this fund from you bank....the only way to verify is to ask you to provide an update of your fund within a duration of time.
Thanks mate for such a nice clarification.

Hi friends,

need some advice.

I have already checked NOC 1111 and NOC 0111 and I can cleary say that I am performing duties for both of them, but inclined more towards Financial managers NOC 0111.

However when it comes to the Employment Requirements In Last point they say "Accounting Managers May Require CA Degree" which I do not posses and now its is my main concern and bothering me. I don't want to face last stage ineligibility issues or NOC not matching.

In form : IMM008 Schedule 3

If I'm doing right,
12 a) will be the one NOC code which you select to have worked on most of your years (your experience)

this doesnt seem to be the NOC code, which we intend to apply.

If thats correct, where exactly are we mentioning the NOC code we wants to apply under ? Is it only on the envelope to CIO ?

Please someone clarify ::)

Anusud,

I am also based out of New Jersey. For us, visa office will be CPP Ottawa and NOT New York. New York visa office is closed.
I obtained my police clearance from Indian consulate in New york. its on 63rd street near central park. I will PM you my mobile number if you want to get in touch.

damn, didn't realize New York was closed, thanks for letting me know!!!. How do find out which is the nearest processing center??, from the IMM5612E document Sathyam refereed, it says if we are applying outside our home country we should have a visa for at least a year. If I choose CPP - Ottawa I shd have Canadian visa with me?

Its a little confusing.

Thanks

There is a lot of confusion on schedule 3 form. 12a asks for one of your occupations that you intend to apply for ( this must be one from list of 50) and expeirence under this occupation will be used to assign points.

12b asks for list of occupations that you have worked so far ( one of occupation in this list must be 12a).It is not mabdatory that all occupations in the list must be from 50 NOC list.

Please correct me if iam wrong.

Also in generic form there is question for current occupation and intended occupation. Current is the NOC u r working currently and inrended is the one for which you wish to apply.

I want to apply under the federal skilled worker program but I haven't done the CELPIP or IELTS and I can't do it in the country I currently live in so i would have to buy a plane ticket to fly somewhere else to do the test. I'm scared that by the time I get the results that the cap will be filled for my NOC and I would have wasted tons of money. Does it even make sense to try since 1000's of people probably have all their documents ready to submit already? I probably won't be able to submit my application until May 30th

7. Question No. 12 a. on Schedule 3 form: The primary NOC code is that particular NOC code you are eligible in out of the 50 eligible NOC codes. The primary occupation that you will fill in form should preferably be from the "Example Title" as listed in website for a particular eligible NOC code and your job duties must match with the eligible NOC Code. However, if your occupation is not listed in "Example Title" for a particular eligible NOC code but your job duties still matches with your eligible NOC code, you can still try your luck by mentioning that occupation which is not listed in "Example Title" as your primary occupation.

Thanks Rawdah for the useful information. I have a question on the 7th point though. My current job title is different from the one mentioned in the examples. But the job responsibilities matches significantly. I am applying for 2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers. My current job title is Module Lead and 10 months back (before promotion) it was Senior Software engineer.

1. Should i mention MOdule Lead and Senior software engineer in the occupation since bcos my referral letter mentions them?
2. In my referral letter should i mention both these designations separately and roles and responsibilities under them separately.

Thanks in advance!!

I like your name Bro...Everybody here chasing light too.....

Be positive bro...it all depends on the NOC you are applying......last year few NOCs were not filled till today and few were getting filled till now....

So be positive, worst case you will have IELTS handy for the subsequent Applications....

I had applied last year for FSWP 2013 in NOC Category 2147 but my application was unfortunately returned back as the Cap for 2147 NOC was already reached. CIC had assigned me an UCI number on my last year's application when they returned the same to me with a note stating that they were unable to process my application since the Cap was already reached for NOC 2147.

Last year, under work experience (Schedule 3 Form), I had shown 7+ years experience (2006-2013) in NOC 2147 (as my primary intended occupation) and 3+ years experience (2002-2005) in 2174 NOC category. Out of these 3+ years work experience in NOC 2174, I had worked in Canada for 1 year (2004-2005) in 2174 (as Computer Programmer).

Unfortunately, this year NOC 2147 is no longer available in the list of Eligible Occupations, but NOC 2174 - Computer Programmer is still available.

My question is, in my last year's FSWP application, since I had shown some 3+ years experience in NOC 2174 (although it was not my primary occupation), will I be able to again apply for FSWP this year (2014) under this new NOC 2174 Category? In other words, can I apply under a different NOC category this year since CIC already knows that I had applied for some other NOC category last year?

Your advice will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Folks!
I have a question with regards to Canadian work experience under the adaptability section. I gained one month of full time work experience when I was a student in Canada. Can I include that as part of my Canadian work experience under adaptability? I have read the operational manual and the CIC website, and I have not found specific information which says work experience gained as a full time student cannot be included to gain points under adaptability.
Please advise, thanks!

I have a couple of questions regarding filling of forms.

1) Are we allowed to fill in the forms by hand ? I am talking about the Background Declaration and Economic Class (IMM0008_3e) and Background Declaration (IMM5669E). Some of the text cannot be filled by typing as it is too long for example my job title.

2) What do you do when you have extra information. For example in personal history I need one more row. Guide says print same page again and fill it but Background Declaration (IMM5669E) says add an additional page in the end, with your name and form number and question number. Little confusing.

Thanks guys for all your help here in the forum !!!

hi, myself kritika. i am applying for FSW as physiotherapist, Kindly let me know the procedure for adding my husband wen my case would be in process. As there is still time period wen i have to marry.I am applying single initially.

hi
I am a Physio too. If you are not married apply as a single person. But make sure that you have at least 67 points as you will miss your husband's IELTS which will get another 5 points. After you get married you can add your spouse. If you have enough points go on.Good luck.

yes you can but still you have to provide a job description related to noc 2174.
