Hi Ashif, can2174 & all experts,

I'm having query with FUNDS...

1. Presently I don't have much fund in my Bank account. Can I deposit the required fund now and get the certificate from the Bank manager. Is it OK?

2. How Long do i need to keep the fund in my account?

3. Do we need to submit 6 months bank statement while submitting the VISA application. is it mandatory? OR just a certificate from the Bank manager is enough?

Please shed some light regarding my queries....
1) Yes provided the bank account will show the that you own/have the specified amount in your account as at when it was issued/stamped/signed by the bank manager.
2)If you go through the option above,be rest assure to be asked to provide an update of your fund at a latter stage.
3)When submitting, either option will be okay as CIC just need to be sure you have that amount in your account as at when submitting your application.

Can I submit photocopies which are printed both sides. For example in case of passport, Offer Letters etc. ? Any help would be appreciated.

Dear ashif_eee,

Kudos to you for starting this topic and also providing guidance to others.
Can I suggest we have a template for Frequently Asked Questions and Answers so that we can easily refer to it and we do not keep answering the same questions all the time. This would be updated regularly as required.
This will be lovely so that questions and answers wont be repeated as the case is now currently.

I suggest you make copies on separate pages and arrange according to the checklist

No strict rule on this but to be on the safer side, don't print on both sides.
Just try to make it on single pages pls!

Got a question regarding the employment history.Do we still have to produce the experience letters/service letter (Not the reference letter, this just states the period of employment and not job descriptions) for those years which we plan not to claim. For instance I have 9 yrs of experience and of that 9 years only the latest 4.5 yrs of employment I am able to produce the reference letter with the proper description ( i have total points of 70 with this 4.5 yrs experience only).I don't see it mentioned in the checklist either.

seniors and fellow members,I would appreciate your response

U are still require to produce reference letter for all of the employment..

It is mentioned Doc checklist at point 12--to give for all of the employment...

You are not required to notarize your uncle's documents as they were issued in Canada, rather ensure you include his birth certificate and your father's birth certificate to show the proof of relationship. Wish you the best!

i have included copy of my father's birth cert & passport but my uncle doesn't have birth cert.... to show the relation i have included uncle's passport where they can see their parents r same. is it ok ? as i dont have alternative

I have a query regarding the proof of fund. I am ready with my all documents but unfortunately the funds are not ready.

My concerns :
1>> Can I apply for the timebeing and show the prrof of funds later on?
2>> what short of POF are accepted? is propoerty documnts valid?
3>> Is it a must that all the fund has to be on my name (principal applicant) or can it be accepted in the name of Principal applicant and dependent?
4>> the fund has to be continuously ther ei account for how long?

Waiting for the guidance.

Regards

There is section in point 12, 12-b, where you need to fill out your "main duties" (5 blocks), that's why I'm wondering if I can explain the 3 main duties or I just need to fill out the exact reference letter info.

Thanks =)

U can add a new page with the form mentioning the form name and footer of the original attached form...:)

In that case u can add more duties..
