I am also similar like u, I've mentioned my wife & 2children as not accompanying & paying fee only for me.
But for safer side I am showing C$ 22,000.

Officially they mentioned like this 'You must be able to use this money to pay the costs of living for your family (even if they are not coming with you)'
It means some may get PR for whole family but travel alone after 2months they will call family, either this instruction is applicable to all get PR or even not accompanying. OR applicable for both case.

Through my verification of my agency, they said that it's alright that the show money that i will produce is for myself only. Also, they said that it is very important that all your dependents(wife and kids) should be included in the dependent form for this is the basis for their granting of sponsorship once you applied later.

Asking about the DD payment again :

What I know : The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Receiver General for Canada"

Query #1 : It should be payable at Canada? Or payable at the local VO which will process the application (in my case, New Delhi) ?
Query #2 : It should be in CAD, right?
Query #3 : Can I give multiple DD's e.g. separate DD of $550 for each applicant.

In India, from where we can make a DD in Canadian dollars? Thomas cook?

URGENT QUESTION

I'm confused about the fees required by the FSWP in the form IM5602 there is only the 550$ (processing fee) then the guide tells that another 490$ (right for PR ) may be requested later.

So how much do I put for credit card? 550 or 1040? (550+490)

Appreciate your prompt response
thnx

Brother Shaiful what is your result for FSWp 2013 ? If negative , then how to get the money of DD ? Please advice.

My application was returned due to CAP reached. I just returned that DD to my bank and they disburse the money in my account.

N.B: They deducted their service charge from there.

it depends, if it is for listening you'll only get CLB level 7, the rest it's 8.

Query #1: payable to Canada
Query #2: yes but i heard some applicants pay in their home currency equivalent to CAD but just to make sure use CAD.
Query #3: Yes you can but I think it will only give you extra charge for that. I'm not so sure. 1 DD is enough for all.

Dear Seniors,

I have a question regarding proof of fund.

Can I show current market value of my stock market investment as proof of fund?

$550 is okay for your processing fee.
The $490 will be requested later as your processing progresses.

Hi,

My diploma institute has been awarded academic autonomy by State board of technical institution. i.e. the istitute can conduct its own exams. As well the controller of examination is from within the institute for my diploma. Can i get the transcripts certified by my institution or do I need to get them from the State Board of Technical Education for WES?

Hello Everyone!!

I have a question regarding sending my documents to WES.

My questions are:

1) do we scan and attach documents before applying to WES for evaluation? I could not see that option
2) Can we just send our last degree/diploma rather than sending our high school transcripts too?

Thanks for your response guys! :)
