First CONGRATULATION to ASHIF_EEE and to all members in the forum for achieving 10K pages. This 10K pages answered all the questions raised by members to process the PR application in successful manner. :-* :-* :-*

I got MR from NDVO on 28/11/2014 without the 2nd line update, but today 2nd line updated and says "We started processing your application on November 26, 2014."

TimeLine:

Application received Date: 12th June
CC Charged on : 14th October
PER Received on : 22nd October
Processing Started on : 26th November
Medical Request on : 28th November

This is strange. Second line should be updated in ideal case befor MR.

Dear Members,

I applied under FSW and my application reached CIO on July 4 2014. I received PER from CIO on 29th Oct 2014.

Query: My application is currently with NDVO and In July I was blessed with a baby girl. I want to add her to my FSWP application. For this I had written an online query to NDVO and they have reverted with list of documents to be submitted.

I need your help to know how should I pay the additional processing fee of 150 CAD. I shall be paying it through DD only. But I am confused about in which currency should I make the DD and the beneficiary for the same.
Option 1: Should I use 'Receiver General for Canada' (Payable as some bank in Canada) and make DD in Canadian dollar and send the same to NDVO
Option 2: Or Should I use 'High Commission of Canada' Payable at New Delhi and make DD in INR. In this case I am not sure how much amount in INR should I use for DD?

Also please let me know your opinion on below queries:
1. For RPRF also should I make DD in CAD or INR?
2. For PCC: If I have stayed in multiple cities in India, should I get PCC from each city or the city where I currently stay will suffice. And if the address on my passport is different from my current address , should I take PCC from my passport address or current address?
3. Medicals: Can I get the medicals done in-advance, even before NDVO requests for it? If for couple of months I am in other country can I get medicals done in that country's DMP? Will NDVO accept it?

to pay fees for ur baby girl, by the way congrats for that, u must address the receiver general for Canada, same as u did when u paid ur fees when applying.

for RPRF the DD must be in CAD, u will make it from india so u will pay equivalent amount rupees against it, the bank or exchange will make it for u in CAD, just the same when u submitted DD for ur fees earlier.

only one indian pcc will be enough, the one from the area u r currently living in, no worries if ur passport has different address then what u r living on.

u cant do medicals in advance, the visa office issues an official email containing each and every member name to do medicals with details, when u go for it, the medical center asks for that letter or email, without which u cant do medicals, so just wait for MR.

Dear all we need to understand that the following is written on CIC website Regarding POF

" These funds could be in the form of:

1) cash
2) documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.) or
3) documents that guarantee payment of a set amount of money, which are payable to you (such as bankers' drafts, cheques, travellers' cheques or money orders)."

The word property in (2) is creating a mess up and I think number of applicants have sent property (land and other Immovable property documents) as POF, Some of them have attached property Valuations and some have not, TO my understanding this is not a valid POF
and can create problems as " POF has to be un encumbered, readily cashable money " like Fixed Deposits, KVP, Treaury Bills, Shares, Debentures etc etc. As property can not be encashed readily, I highly suspect that it will be treated as POF, Whereas it is your Assett and can be taken in Assett Column not in POF calculations.

I am a Govt. Registered Valuer since last 18 Years and I can tell you from my experience that If somebody has sent only property documents or just valuation of that property as POF, his/Her application is in high risk bracket !!!!!!!!!!

Dear Yogi

PPR is a million dollar question as even first week of May applicant are waiting still. What you should be looking forward to at this moment is: Third line updation in your ECAS status saying that medicals are received.

may be a trillion dollar question, i have heard on other forums, some indian friends stating that ndvo will start sending ppr after the christmas holidays......thats in jan 2015. now dont know if its true or not. still at least 20 days in christmas holidays in india.

after PER...it takes about avg 2 months minimum to get any further corespondence from visa office.....max it can take upto 4 months.

Not necessary: My time line below

Visa office: NDVO
App received: 3rd June
PER: 28th Sept
MR and RPRF: 28th Nov

My ECAS second line was updated on the 28th of Nov after I received MR, however it was backdated saying that they started processing app on 24th Nov( and I know because i have checked it multiple times in a day)

I was wondering that after providing MR and RPRF request do NDVO continue doing background check or dey provide one with the MR and RPRF request after dey have finished up with background check?
One thing more do MR and RPRF provided together or separately ??

usually the VO finishes checking background things when they issue mr and rprf but they can continue or can check anything even after receiving mr and rprf.......they wont check anything after issuing ppr.

mr and rprf can come together and can come seperately....MR always comes first....if coming alone. then comes rprf. sometimes mr and pcc comes only sometimes all together sometimes on individual basis.

My appln date is may 22..per on sept 10...processing started on 8th Nov..no mr yet..I am so relieved to know that I have company..let's hope to get mr soin

I have a question about RPRF Receipt.
as I don't have Visa or Master Card, my friend did the online payment of RPRF for me, and CIC email me the receipt. there is a table in the receipt which shows my friend name as payer, and there is some blank area for address, postal code, date of birth and... . now I wonder if I should fill this blank areas with my friend's address and other information? is it compulsory?
Pleaaaaaaase answer me , I don't have much time.

u have to fill in ur friend's details as he is paying ur fees, there is no problem in that. they wont bother who is paying this fees.

Dear
I have sent FD Statement of account along with copies of FD's duly attested by Bank manager
plus a separate letter from Bank (on their letter head) Confirming all FD number, Date of maturity, Basic and Maturity amount
was also sent with my application.

RPRF fees has to be paid online or DD cud be send along wid medical receipt ?

u can do either, pay online or sent a DD. for online payment, save and take care of the electronic receipt, take out its print and send along ur MR for proof to visa office.
