I applied under FSW and my application reached CIO on July 4 2014. I received PER from CIO on 29th Oct 2014.
Query: My application is currently with NDVO and In July I was blessed with a baby girl. I want to add her to my FSWP application. For this I had written an online query to NDVO and they have reverted with list of documents to be submitted.Congrats for new born
I need your help to know how should I pay the additional processing fee of 150 CAD. I shall be paying it through DD only. But I am confused about in which currency should I make the DD and the beneficiary for the same.
Option 1: Should I use 'Receiver General for Canada' (Payable as some bank in Canada) and make DD in Canadian dollar and send the same to NDVOYes
Option 2: Or Should I use 'High Commission of Canada' Payable at New Delhi and make DD in INR. In this case I am not sure how much amount in INR should I use for DD?
Also please let me know your opinion on below queries:
1. For RPRF also should I make DD in CAD or INR?Online payment means CAD / DD means INR
2. For PCC: If I have stayed in multiple cities in India, should I get PCC from each city or the city where I currently stay will suffice. And if the address on my passport is different from my current address , should I take PCC from my passport address or current address? One Country One PCC
3. Medicals: Can I get the medicals done in-advance, even before NDVO requests for it?Yes If for couple of months I am in other country can I get medicals done in that country's DMP? Will NDVO accept it?Yes
Kindly help with your replies.

NICE EYE OPENER BRO....+1 TO YOUmjoshi10 said:POF questions
Dear all we need to understand that the following is written on CIC website Regarding POF
" These funds could be in the form of:
1) cash
2) documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.) or
3) documents that guarantee payment of a set amount of money, which are payable to you (such as bankers' drafts, cheques, travellers' cheques or money orders)."
The word property in (2) is creating a mess up and I think number of applicants have sent property (land and other Immovable property documents) as POF, Some of them have attached property Valuations and some have not, TO my understanding this is not a valid POF
and can create problems as " POF has to be un encumbered, readily cashable money " like Fixed Deposits, KVP, Treaury Bills, Shares, Debentures etc etc. As property can not be encashed readily, I highly suspect that it will be treated as POF, Whereas it is your Assett and can be taken in Assett Column not in POF calculations.
I am a Govt. Registered Valuer since last 18 Years and I can tell you from my experience that If somebody has sent only property documents or just valuation of that property as POF, his/Her application is in high risk bracket !!!!!!!!!!
Best of luck everybody !!!!!!
u r absolutely right, just write N/A for that.gursimran31 said:Your surname is your family name. It is sometimes called your “last name.” If your name is spelled differently on your official documents, please write your name as shown in your passport. When filling out applications, type your surname as it appears on your passport, travel or identity document or any letters you got from the visa office or case processing centre where you sent your application (even if the name is misspelled). Do not use initials.
If you do not have a surname on your passport, travel or identity document, enter all your given name(s) in the surname field, write “not applicable” or “N/A” in the given name field.
My passport does not have any surname. According to above statements I think I need to fill my full name in place of 'FAMILY NAME' And 'N/A in place of GIVEN NAME??? Please clarify?
