Should not be an issue. You can request your VO to transfer the file to the VO office where you are traveling if you are staying abroad for long. Likewise if you want to complete the formalities in your home country, you can do that as well if it is possible for you to travel home to complete the VO requirements. Do keep your VO informed at all times regarding your foreign travels and foreign job.

Hello everyone!

Looking for some advice!

My FSWP application was received on the 5th of August 2014 and my credit card has not yet been charged. Not sure if I need to be worried now. From the forum, I can see applications received much later have already had their payment charged. If there was a problem with my application, I am guessing the documents must have been returned and reached me already.

Any ideas?

Cic has behaved really strange w with no cap updates for a month and then suddenly in two weeks they closed nocs.. I think still there s hope for september applicants for 2171 bcoz last time also after cap update we saw people getting charged...

unfortunately we wont know when then cap was reached after someone reports application returned due to cap. I'm a 24 octuber 2171 applicant, just praying to get in.

i think they are capping 3012
and 2132
so i expect they are being capped soon

Then why only 64 applications for 2132 since last 20 days? Is there any window for November applicants?

Well if they fast track the visa app, then by all means! I can only work sitting in CIO if I have the coveted stamp on by passport

CIC also requested FBI PCC and RPRF - CIC has given 60 days to submit docs.
I had sent both(INDIA and US PCC) along with the application. Both expired in August. They did not request Indian PCC. Might be because i never went to india after i got my Indian PCC. But i was still in the US early this year.
I have already applied for FBI PCC a month back - and waiting

One more thing with the latest update do you think that completeness check already reached the month of October? By the way I am a 3012 applicant and my app received on October 7....

Just a little insight on whats up with CIC ...

1. Seems like CC charging and DD encashing has sped up .... CIC has gone past 1.5 months of applications in a little over 2 weeks... It is probably because three top NOC's got capped and they began ignoring those application post mid july ... Hence considerably lesser number of appliations/day to be processed...

2. In spite of CC charging speeding up, PERs have been coming around 115 days at best which is pretty close to the earlier stats .. 115-125 days as an estimate ... Seems like CIC doesn't plan to burden respective Visa offices with loads of work ....

Hope this sudden movement of CIC will push respective Visa OFfices to get their act together ..... I'm rooting for shorter processing times for VOs ... and especially for NDVO to begin rolling out PPRs ..... my dear freind Ruchil has been waiting for a long time ...

I've not been able to be regular on the forum off late but - COngrats to all who heard good news in the past week ...!!
