Hi Seniors !

Wanted advice. In the reference letter which is submitted as part of my application, my immediate superior has signed. This reference letter is the one on which my NOC is claimed.

I am wondering, during background check, will visa office be contacting company HR, or will they contact my superior.

If visa office contacts my HR, it is possible they have no idea of this reference letter.

Should I then keep my HR informed of this probable inquiry ? (which I do not want, as it can affect my current growth prospects..)

I am confused..

Please help..

Firstly, visa office doesn't do verification directly, they employ third parties to do the job. Secondly, verification is optional. Thirdly, if it takes place they will usually email the person who's business card was provided with the app.

Currently CIC has start processing 24th July recv apps,. So, yours may be considered during the first week of Feb 2015. I think you have very little chance but all depends on next cap update from CIC. Hope they don't give a shock. All my best wishes for yu mate, cheers.

Thanks for reply but as per the SS 28 aug applicant CC has been charged already so by that logic CIC is done with completeness check for atleast aug applications. You are right though.. next cap update might give some idea and hope..

seniors pls comment at what point after PER mail does one need to inform office.

Prashant really sorry to hear about rejection.

File is sent back through snail mail and it should reach in 20 to 45 days time. You should check with your local and main Post office of your area.

This NOC is not very hot so easily you can make it in December.

Please share was your DD cashed or not.

If I receive my application kit back by end of Nov and I rectify and send the app back to them within 1 week of Dec 2014, with an assumption the CAP is not capped as it is not so hot, will they consider processing the application received in December 2014 or they will simply disregard the application saying re-apply in Express Entry.

Hello all seniors I need some clarification. I assumed that the UCI number that is issued for previous applications is unique and can be used for future FSW applications. I had applied under FSW in 2011 but my application was returned due to CAP being reached by the time my application was evaluated. However, I had a UCI number assigned to my application.

I applied under FSW again this year (2014) and I used my previous UCI number when I filled out the 2014 forms. My CC was charged on 11-11-14. When I tried using my UCI number to check the status of my application on the ECAS website I get an error message that my information cannot be found.

Can anyone guide me? Will they issue a new UCI number for my 2014 application? Should I contact CIC?
Please provide your input.

I take it that the rejection took place because of old Economic classes form which was drastically updated in 2013. Most importantly they added a signature field rendering all outdated respective forms non-compliant with IRPA 10, hence it could not pass completeness check.

+1 to you. That was part of the points highlighted in the rejection letter

All app received in CIC ofice till 31st Dec will definitely be processed. Actually as per existing instructions, they should process all apps received till 30th April 2015 but there is ambiguity and future instructions may override existing. U r certainly safe till 31st Dec 2014.

Most probably September apps are through completeness check and applications of Week 1 & Week 2 would probably be in queue for charging.

As of today NOC 2132 Mech Engr.. CIC cap = 532.
Last two days seen lot of 2132 applicants reporting CC charging.
Is it going to fill shortly.
I am going to apply next week, waiting for IELTS result.

Will End Nov 2132 applicant will have any chance

How do we get a police certificate in Saudi Arabia.... more specifically do we need to get some special letter from CIC or can we use the generic letter that is available at the Canadian Embassy in Riyadh ?

Also how long does it take for the letter to arrive if CIC sends it ?

another question for you

if some one gets Medical and PCC request on the same day processing started by VO (according to ECAS)
1. What you think has the person passed any step of process that VO does?
2. only Criminality and Security checks are left that should start after VO receives PCC?
3. Does the application joins the waiting queue of VO again after the documents request?
4. Why some people get RPRF request with PCC while others dont ? is it completely on VO's discretion ?
