You can LAND anywhere, but you cannot reside in Quebec under the FSW. You can either apply under Quebec skilled worker or immigrate under FSW and then at some point you would not be restricted in where you move, but I am not sure when that point is.

1. You cannot "intend" to "reside" in Quebec using FSW. If you do, you have to use the Quebec provincial immigration process.
2. Wherever you do land, you cannot declare your intention to "reside" in Quebec either, if you do, [I am not sure exactly what happens]. But you cant.
3. After you "land" in anywhere in Canada declaring your intention to reside in any part of Canada other than Quebec, you can move to and live anywhere in Canada, including Quebec, as the Canadian Charter of Freedom provides freedom of movement. Residents of Canada are protected by the CoF.

However, remember, the law works on "intention." If there is ever a question on your immigration status, and they are able to prove that you always had the intention of residing in Quebec, but you stated otherwise during your immigration process, then they can prosecute you for material misrepresentation of fact, which can lead to cancellation of your PR. How you overcome this is a question of law and fact and you should rely on an attorney. It can be overcome though.

Please remember that even though there is a cap of 1000 applicants on each NOC, only 25000 applicants will get through.

Decision on ECA finally Done!!

My status was "Not Received" for University Issued Marksheets on 16th May

Status changed to "Not Acceptable" on 19th May

Then I had written a long email to them and requested them to have a look at my docs one more time

Status changed to "ACCEPTED" on 21st May.

These people are burdened with applications from all around the world and I think there is a mess around there, so have patience and if you have sent your documents in the right manner then noone can stop you from getting the ECA Report.

Dear Ashif,

Please help in the query of birth certificate. I went through the forum and I have some idea, request for futher clarification.

Myself and wife does't have marriage certificate.

1) I have 10th certificate and in that, they have mentioned my name, dob and parents name. so I think, if I get a photo copy of that and get it notrized that is enough for me - Or do I need an affidivat on top of that ? Pls advise

2) For my wife, the required 3 details are not there in the school certificates. So I believe an affidivat needs to be taken. So what needs to be mention in that ? Do you know if she approach a notry they will have the format ? Pls advise on the affidivat at the earlist.

Is it really impossible for u to collect the copies/new certificate from the authority?

Unless u are planning lots of hazarodus works for which i am not sure how will this paper will work on CIC....

So try to get the marriage certificates please...

I second the sentiment shared by xXCiscoGuyXx!! The overall cap is 25k and this forum hardly represents the applications that are received at CIO. Please do not be complacent in sending your application. The more earlier, the merrier!!

Its just idea---It will take over Mid JUN (atleast) in my guess ..since this time there is sevral 217X category with 1000 CAP...
