Hi Friends,
I am looking for sincere advice from all of you.

I am a 12 May applicant,
Status
MR/ PCC/PRPF (rec. on 7 October 2014)
Sent on 17 October 2014.
Medicals Done on 10 October 2014.
Query
Me and my wife is planning for family next year (around Nov/ Dec 2015). Currently, worried what would be the status of my PR. Lets say if child takes birth in Oct to Dec 2015, we need to take care of the new born baby for atleast a year in India. Meanwhile after birth, I will be applying/ arranging for baby's passport, birth certificate and PR. I have no idea how things will work out. And how much I will be good to hold make my a d my wife PR status alive.

Hope I m able to make my problem clear. I am really worried. (Also heard that soon policy for PR validity is going to change, it will be like one has to be in Canada for at least 183 days in a single year to keep PR status alive.)

Other suggestion I got was to get your baby delivered in Canada, then all problems resolved. Actually we will be trying for this baby after medical repercussions and my parents emotional attachment will not make to fly soon after baby get birth.

If you guys can provide any other suggestions, I would be grateful.

If I was in ur situation, I would have immigrated to Canada in the early second trimester of pregnancy, taken the PR Card and returned back home. And then would reenter Canada after child is above 1yr. Take ur call. Good Luck

Background & Security Checks

Note: Our Background Check comprises of 2 parts:
1. The Standard Documentation Checks,
2. The Security & Criminality Checks.

Standard Documentation Checks:
Our background check is done at the CHC stage. It commences the moment our file gets the 1st BFD by the VO. An indicator of which is the e-CAS that shows "In Progress". All docs been checked & our NOC being tallied against the MI, if the VO finds our case 'eligible' for Canadian PR, the file becomes 'Accepted'; and then it goes for standard background checks, viz. Exp, Quals, Adaptability, Qualitative Considerations etc.

The process involves many things. If our case file is well presented and the enclosures vouch the quality-quantity, adequate POF docs etc., there might not be a requirement of 'actually' calling the employers, references etc. The VOs have a way with that, they are experienced enough to ascertain the logical disposition of our case. But, if there are any concerns of his/her, s/he is likely to ask for additional docs, do further scrutiny vide any means [calling, visiting etc.] & might ask for an Interview.

-Culmination: When 'fully' satisfied, we get the 'Medical Request'.
-Timeframe: Can be anything around 3-8* months, for the 'fast track' system (Avg. 4-5 months).
-eCAS: Continues to Show 'In Process'.

Security & Criminality Checks:
A part of the b/ground checks is the 'Security Check'. It commences after our med results are submitted to the CHC. This is a major activity -mainly concerning our 'safe inclusion' into the Canadian Soil; vis-a-vis, Political, Socio-Econmical, Anti-Social disposition, perceived Threat to Canada's integrity etc. This gets us the SDEC, CDEC & SECCRIM.

This is a serious & time-consuming stage, involving many agencies, including CSIS, Interpol, NASC, Database Checking & touch-base with Local Police. Many things are considered here... the No. of countries visited, Applicant coming from 'certain' countries, ex-Servicemen [including Law Enforcement services], Prolonged stay in a country w/out sufficient docs to prove cause, frequent traveling to certain nations, your *Name (?), Inter-Religion/Nationality Marriages etc.

If everything is simple & straight, the file soon gets into the 'final review' stage. If there are any 'red flags', our case goes into a 'spin'. Then our file might go to the local Police/CID agencies; the outcome/timeframe of which is beyond the control of CIC. And thereby the timeframe can be anything [sometimes beyond 1yr]. But, usually this stage should be over by 5 months max. However, a point to be noted is that we can also be called for an Interview [at this stage], due to this reason.

-Culmination: Only upon security clearance we receive the PPR.
-Timeframe: Around 2-6 months. Avg. 3 months. [With new system, sometimes PPR is clubbed with Meds]

Looks realistic.

From where did you get this information?

Q-01

Agreed with you as the application is already dispatched and reached by 1st OCT.
But as the count suddenly increased in last update to 699, which making me impatient for keep on thinking about weather I will be clear or not.
So Q asked for making my mid setup weather there is a chance or not.

I am seeing quite a lot experienced guys are suggesting on many queries, so may be they have some pridictions for 2173 for reached application by 1st OCT?

Q-02

Expected DD changed date for 1st OCT reached application[if i will be under CAP] ?

Q-03

If unfortunately I am not clear and cap will be full, Will CIC send the application back.
Can I use the same documents for EE in 2015 ->
1. Will reference letter taken in Sept from my past company work for EE 2015
2.Will the Proof of Fund doc taken in Sept need to be taken again?
3. What other doc need to be changed if I want to apply in 2015 EE ?
So to say but ur chances r very blick

Occupation in passport? I have never heard of such a thing! In any case, occupation in the passport can be ignored.

A start of another week to get great news. Keep the faith. Patience. Everything is gonna be alright.

Hi everyone,

My spp was rec. Sept 4 then I sent add't doc (revised wes report) rec.oct.30
From what I have been reading here, it seems that there is a possibility that cic have already opened and did completeness check on sept 4th app.

Seniors or anyone who have send add docs and was successfully match by cic here? Can you give timeline on gap between add doc ate to app rec. I just worried that cic might have finished completeness check on oct 30 forapps received sept 4.

Thanks

Dear Shakti123 .......

I may be wrong..... but that is what i feel......... I can understand your situation........ But your worries also starts giving stress to others.....
Hopefully we will see some PPR's before the end of this week.

Thats a big one, and dont take it personally.

A different view helps, how else you can explain a person getting MR request on the same day VO received application. There should be a logic and facts behind every thing you and I see.
Each and every thing I had pointed, is based on facts and instances. I dont worry and will not worry, you dont start worrying for me.

There is no point in attaching emotions and thinking everything is hunky dory, do accept a different point of view and dont cringe when a different point of view from your's is put forward.

I m Aug 13th Applicant for NOC 2173.

I wish and pray that everyone who are sailing in the boat of "AUGUST" get their CC and DD charged and also get their PER's soon.

Lets wait and hope for the best....
