this was published on 26th april and cap page is updated on a regular basis so which one is more recent??

Anyway i really dont care if its till april or dec......

but in my opinion any1 who wishes to apply ahould do it by dec as you rightly said.

CAP page is not ministerial instruction. Though i agree, it is loosely worded.

Applied on July 21st-
Yesterday my card was charged by CIC.
What are the next steps? How long does fingerprinting take and when do I start the procedure? I am a newbie to this forum, and this is my first post.
Also, everyone seems to talk in abbreviations. What do MR, PFPR, PCC, NVDO etc stand for?

Would greatly appreciate advice.,
Congrats and +1 to you !!

Think this year processing is very different. Previously MR used to be one of the last stages, but now they are starting with MR, RPRF and PCC requests even before assigning a Visa officer.
Only after receiving MR/PCC/RPRF application is kept in queue and a visa office is assigned and Background checks and other validations are taking place.

This year, I think a MR request is just the start of the process and not the phase near the end like in the past. Hope this clarifies everything, and why we are getting MR requests immediately after application is received at VO.

Dear Shakti123 ....... Pls calm down your nerves....... Your opinion is not true........ I know it is hard to wait but pls relax.......

1. Your first worry:::: I think you recognize me...... I am the one who tried to convince you that online payment of RPRF is valid but instead of accepting you started arguing by giving more negative replies. Ultimately you and other people got the reply from NDVO that it is valid..

2. Your Second worry:::: You started thinking that "Medical results have been received" does not mean that Medical is OK. Then again i gave you a example of my friend who has received further medical request from VO has not received third line. Wheres i received my third line updated, which clearly means that Medical line is updated once it is clear.

3. Important and new one:::: Now you feel that MR/RPRF/PCC requests are being made before assigning the files to VO. This may also not true as atleast two members has already received interview requests, so who asked for the interview. There are also more than one member who are asked additional documents/POF documents etc, so who asked for those documents. Why so much of time is required for getting MR/RPRF/PCC, the way you think all files received by VO can be asked for MR/RPRF/PCC instantly.

You said that background checks will be made after the receipt of MR/RPRF/PCC. No doubt that background checks can be initiated any time and they can be started after MR request. Most of the people who received MR/RPRF/PCC might got their background check done or waived. I personally know few applicants who received MR/RPRF/PCC requests they all are having years of experience and they belong to big private/public/govt. organizations, i believe their documents is strong enough like Appointment letters/HR communications/PF accounts with their organizations/ ITR / salaried accounts etc. or their background check is easy enough from their department's websites etc. That's why, some got them early, some are waiting with their files are being processed and other's files are assigned to a VO awaiting a first review.
The reply you got from VO that your file is awaiting for review may be a second review for MR/RPRF/PCC and criminality check.

I may be wrong..... but that is what i feel......... I can understand your situation........ But your worries also starts giving stress to others.....
Hopefully we will see some PPR's before the end of this week.

@djohn:
I saw 1 member of June16 got the PER this week.. so i think there are chances of some(or few or couple i dono - just guess) files are still with CIC for which results are yet to be out...
You might be one of them... all the best to you and wish you will get your PER coming week.

Also like me there are 3-4 other members of June 3rd and 4th week who havent heard anything from CIC... so lets see.

In my case, I attached a notarized Affidavit of Document Discrepancy in my application. You may send the same as addendum to your original package.
Good luck mate!
Thanks, mate. Appreciate the input. I don't want to send another document unless its absolutely necessary. Besides, I am not sure if it'll be included in the original application if I send it separately. Please advise.

Section 12 (Addresses) of the Schedule A: even addresses when travelling?

Guys, another one, sorry(

Just came across a video tutorial of an immigration consultancy, where an immigration lawyer says that in Section 12 (Addresses) of the Schedule A Background Declaration form, one is required to mention all the addresses even if they were travelling (in this case, "Travelling. No fixed address" should be mentioned). It has never occurred to me before... My husband and I have just written the addresses where we resided in our home country.
The question is, has any one of you, successful applicants, specifically mentioned time periods during which you were travelling in a foreign country?
My husband has once travelled for 3 months in a foreign country as a tourist, and there were several other instances when we both were abroad as tourists for a couple of weeks...

Thanks once again... and sorry for disturbing

I received Medical Request on 8th nov. I have to travel to onsite from my current company by next week for 3 weeks and considering this I have couple of questions.

1. Within how much days generally people get Passport request after submitting MEDICAL,PCC & RPRF
2. After receving Passport request within how many days candidate has to sent Passport to local VO? (Is there any time limit like medical ? )
3. Suppose there is any time limit to submit passport , what to do while candidate is at onsite?
