Guys i am stucked somewhere and i need ur help. Actualy me and my wifes national identity card has adress where currently we are not living and in cic i have provided the adress where we are currently leaving. Now if i wil go for making police certificate then police certificate will include the adress where i am currently not living. So will there be any problem with it. Like wil be there be any problem in my application?

I had same situation and hence,I am afraid to tell you that you are too late, even you withdraw the second on, you will not your money back . So It is better to keep both on track .

Hey Mate,

Prepare a covering letter and mention that you are sending them missing form now. Cover letter should contain all your personal details (Name, DOB, Address, Contact Number, Passport Number, Date of original application received and who received it).

Alternatively send them and email (scanned copy of cover letter and wife's filled form) from your email address that you have mentioned in application form. Ask them to confirm that they have put additional form that you are sending them with your original application.

I sent some additional documents too, and alternatively sent email as well. They replied to my email exactly after 31 working days confirming that the additional document has been attached to original application received and that they will consider this when evaluating my application.

Which as per your judgement is better than the other.

As in JD or minor mistakes you might have made. Or in which you feel there is some history missing and might lead to misrepresentation.

Its just an overall judgement.

Hi Seniors,

I am writing to you with out most concern and worry needs immediate attention ...My file got delivered on 18th of JUNE '2014 at 13.58 and received by Mr. Mike.

How can i check the status of my application or any identification no.(if any) to track the same, as its been more than 20 weeks I have not received any communication post sending my file to Nova Scotia.

I have already tried calling +16139444000 four times but they do not provide any status update and +18882422100 can't be reached from outside Canada, also if the file has been sent back i have not received the package yet so i am very confused and worried and loosing on precious time as last date is 31 Dec 2014.

send e-mail at cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca asking about the status of your application. Mention your Full Name, DoB, UCI (of you have any), Passport number. Also provide the detail of when and who received your original package and through which couriers.

It will take around 40 days to get response.

You are posting and reposting the same message. Honestly, forum members will reply you back to you message when they feel free about the possible cases of NOT getting charged for your application. Please show some patience until that time.

If you payment type is DD, you may have wait for some more time.

I can understand your concern as you are still NOT being charged. Be positive and you'll hear news anytime from now.

On the other side, do you foresee any reasons of your applications not charged?

Something like

1/ Missing signatures
2/ JD on company letter head
3/ Expired IELTS results
4/ Missing information on mandatory forms
5/ Supplementary travel details

11th July is not over at all. So keep your finger crossed.
