Not a problem at all. YOu only need to live in Canada for 2 out of 5 years after landing to be able to maintain and renew PR. So both of you or your wife alone can move there three years after landing if your wish without any negative consequence. Anyways, you cannot exclude your wife from the application. Even if you choose your wife as non-accompanying the MR and PCC ARE required for her as well. Like I said, there is absolutely NOTHING you need to do at this moment, just get PR for both, complete the landing within the visa validity and then move to Canada within the next 3 years.

Just to add that u can't just land and return to ur base to finally relocate after 3 years. I think there is also the condition of entering Canada at least once in every year to keep the PR. U may want to double check this. All the best

I m a 9th June Applicant. Last Sunday I send an email to NDVO from Case Specific Enquiry. I updated them with my Relieving letter by my Employer. Attach it and send it along with a covering letter.

Next day I checked by Inbox and I found an email from NDVO. Listed below...

Not unless you apply for her separately. Better to let her land, get the PR card, and then return when she can. She only needs to stay for 2/5 years to maintain PR.

Now I got it. I didnt know about "need of staying for 2 years in 5 years to renew PR".

While I am in the midst of updating the SS, I have a question pls - Since my spouse and kid are not accompanying me at this time, will the PPC & Medical be still required for both? My understanding states that these will only be required when I sponsor them at a later stage, when their individual files will be in active status. Anyone who has an experience whilst dealing with a scenario like this can share their inputs pls...

[size=10pt][size=10pt]Hi Vind, CanoI and all other senior members. I seriously need some expert advice as I am in a fix. Let me explain you all my situation as I have been regularly following this forum and before I go ahead, let me tell you that all forumites are quite helpful and I have gained good experience by just following it on a daily basis.

I filled my application on 17 June and it reached the courier address (49 Dorchester Street) on 23 June 2014 and received by "Doug" as per DHL. Payment mode for my application was through DD and I have check it thrice with the bank and they say that it has not yet been encashed and the status is outstanding. Last I checked was today. This DD has a validitiy of 6 months. I filed my application thorugh India under NOC code "0111".

The only worrying factor is that CIC is currently working on July and Aug applications so what happens to my applications. Infact I also called the CIC number that was shared on this forum thrice and spoke with 3 different agents who did not share the UCI number as they said that the call center has 200 agents and not every one accecc to these files so can't help. I have already written an email to the Enquire email address, but there TAT is 30 days so awaiting a response from their end.

What do I expect

Is the file returned or there is still a chance of receiving a PER as I sent in complete application with PCC, IELTS, WES and other formalities in the prescribed format.[/size][/size]

Bro it is observed that CIO somtimes take unsual time on certain files and work simantaniously on multiple dates. I think you should you take some measures.

1. You have already written to cio. So thats good, you can expect a reply in 45 days as per current scenario.

2. You can again try calling cio, this time be humble and regret to disturb them during their work and tell them you need their help in finding UCI and the status of your application.

2. If you have copy of your file then double, triple check your docs and try to find if there is anything mussing/ wrong.

3. God forbid if there is somthing wrong in your file then prepare another file, request for another copy of IELTS trf and file without wasting any time.
