Hello Folks

I did my Masters from Canada and currently in Canada now a days. However I had my undergraduate from outside Canada. In order to apply for FSW program do I need to get my undergraduate certificate evaluated by WES or I am good to go with my Canadian Master's degree with out evaluation.

another thing I need to know what is the last date by which one can apply for FSW application. As some people on this forums are saying that FSW will continue till April 30, 2015 however CIC link says that it will be effective till the launch of Express entry which is in janaury 2015.

Dear All Experts,

Can anyone guide me that how many points i shall get for education. Whereas I have completed MBA-2.5 Years(equal to M-Phil in Business Administration-17.5-Years of Education) after completion of my MCS (16-Years).Please note that 16-Years of non-business education was a pre-requisite to get admission into this MBA-Finance-2.5-Years program.
My question is whether WES will evaluate my MBA as equivalent of Canada's Masters degree???

Although WES has mentioned in my account all of the documents as "Accepted" (approximately after 15-days of receipt at WES in Canada), but still final report is not prepared. Also can anyone guide that after documents are accepted by WES, how long do they take to issue the ECA.

Hi Diplomatru,

I think, after completeness check, they will scan all the documents and upload them in to system. This will take quite a lot of time. Only a logical guess, may not be very accurate

My experience tells me that it can be done in a few hours with old-school scanner and 20 minutes with a normal machine that is found in any UPS store if the application is about 100 pages.

Correct. app 50 apps in a day... 50X20 = 1000 mins... 3 days? Initially, it could be as high as 400 apps per day, in may?

Dear members I applied under 0013 my first application received on may 20 and I received my file back on 21 of October the letter indicates that my file has been returned to me because there is missing document(university transcripts) and the work experience. So can you please update my status.

Later I sent a new a application and it was received on July 14 and today my credit card has been charged!!!! What dose that mean? I'm confused
And how can I enter my second application information? I didn't get any email, I'm trying to check my application status online but it shows a msg (we can't recognize the info.) that's why I'm worried!! If you have any idea what's going on pls help. Really appreciate it.

I want your advice , if I sent my file Mid December, will it be treated normally as FSWP 2014 regardless of the date they start processing my application? because some people told me that CIC might be busy with the new Express Entry System and they might return all the files received during mid/end of December .. is this correct ?
or there will be a lap between the 2 systems ? ( for the files sent on October/November/December .. which will be processed around January,February,March 2015 ) ?

Could someone please help me ?

UCI created before Completeness Check, not after. This is proven by the fact that files returned for incompleteness also have UCI no. My guess is, as soon as they open a file, the first thing they do is to create a UCI no.

It was off this forum, an acquaintance's file got returned. On this forum if 6th August got returned, that further means it took a month or less to be received.. meaning a month on top of 6th & 13th August signifies the c-check is way beyond last week of august as we speak, or perhaps august is done with.
