Yesterday i received my PER and I have few questions over here for the upcoming process:

Now my passport does not have a surname and i was thinking of updating it by properly having a surname and a first name. Also the passport has been issued about 7 years ago and my appearance has also changed a lot.

So my Questions are

• Is it ok to update the passport now with the latest name and appearance? Will i need to send updated forms to the VO if i change the passport details

• How much delay will it cause in my application

• Also if i don't update the passport is there any possible problems which i will face with the missing surname and minor change in appearance?

Good Option, update your passport and send updated passport photocopy to your visa office along with covering letter. It should not cause any un-necessary delay in processing your application...

Need help with UK PCC :

Dear forumites, I have a query regarding UK PCC. I'm currently working in Qatar on Employment Visa. I'm a resident of India. Prior to this i was in Australia on student visa until 2009 and have lived in Australia for 2 years. I was also in UK on student visa from 2003-2005. My query is what address should i provide in previous addresses which are required by UK PCC, and there is a section which mentions if i have lived at the same address fro more than 10 years. so what should be answer as technically I live there as its my home (India) and i have 2 proof of ID which is mandatory for the release of PCC

Would be great if someone could shed light on this.

Funds should be equivalent to CAD (depends on exchange rate and your local currency value)

I did my 10th from ICSE and 12th from CBSE

Heres what I wrote:

number of years of primary education= 7, secondary = 5 , university = 6 and post secondary = 0

type of certificate issued for class 10 = '8th-10th' grade and 12 = 11-12th grade

field of study for class 10 = 'School' and 12 = 'Commerce' (as I took commerce stream in 11th and 12th, for non medical it should probably be Science)
