Hi everyone,
I have a very peculiar situation. I want to apply under NOC code 2172. I have all the dcouments ready except ECA from WES. I ordered Diploma and Degree assessmet and paid fot international courier. Intial online report shows both diploma and degree assessed but the hard copy received shows only diploma assessed although at the top of report shows equivalent to Bachelor's degree. I have written to them several times to rectify it, but got only automated response. Tried their phone # as well- was advised to write an email and wait for response. then I decided to order additional report with courier service again, still haven't got any thing.
I do not know when will I get report from WES. My sister in Canada called CIC call center asking what to do in this situation. The CSR advised that if with Diploma report, you can get 67 or more pass marks-then submit your application.
I am now in delimma whether to submit it or is it too late now? Or even if I submit it, will it be considered with Diploma report as WES has withdrawn the online report and replaced with "File under review'. I do not understand why WES would not provide the service that they have been paid for?
Any advise from senior members?

I need some help regarding settlement fund. Can someone show amount shown in ‘Employee Provident Fund statement (EPFO)' as a part of settlement fund. Please note that this statement would include provident fund contribution that an employer deducts from the salary every month & the similar contribution is made by employer, as per government rule. Please suggest if they can included as part of settlement funds.

EPF is very much possible to be shown as POF. Relax.

you can do either of the following;-
1) Wait for CIC to reply which could be
(i) a rejection due to insufficient funds or
(ii) they could accept your app with your "IRS" declaration.

2)You could right away shoot a cover letter explaining the additional doc and your application details with your new POF docs. :-X

No it wont. They would have stamped lock-in date as October 23 on your application so you are good.

My question is that I have submitted my file in August, Can I change my current job now and later on I inform CIC about that??? Is it possible??? Or I continue this job till decision will be make?? and My new job is totally different from current job (Different NOC)

Hi Guys...

Finally I got Medical and PCC request from NDVO , I am 12th May applicant.

I need little help on your experience as I am getting little bit confused about the PCC application.

I have a passport of Bhopal and I live in Pune. Just confused where should I apply for it. I am in Bhopal tomorow and I thought if my address in Passport is same I can directly get PCC from Bhopal PSK without any local police verification.

But someone told me I have to goto local police station to get clearance and then present it to PSK.

So I am little confused what should I do in this case, should I goto Pune and apply there and wait for few days. Or Bhopal. I need to submit these on 4th December. Please let me know if anyone went thru this before

You can apply for PCC in Bhopal. PCC will be issued faster as passport address and PCC issuance are from same centre. Just hope that the address is still applicable.
You do not have to give police clearance to PSK.

How Do you know that the status has been updated before PER is given?

Where do one checks the status?
Correct me if I am wrong here,
The procedure is:

1. We send the file to CIC.
2. CIC Opens the file 3 months from the day they received it (generally).
3. If all the documents are okay, they send you a PER (via email)
4. The email contains some link, or some code / number / application number using which we can check our status somewhere (the website of CIC)
