Took exactly 11 days incl. weekends to fix my name.

I m July 8 applicant and waiting for my cc charge
One confusion..my passport expired last month in October..
So little tense for that reason.
Whether they will issue PER on expired pp

The passport was valid at the time of filling up the application. So its fine. Get the passport renewed and inform VO once you get PER.

To my knowledge both Palak and Mabmabs are right, however i would like to say is that, wouldn't it be better to get the Visa stamped on the new PP, as you are already in the process.

Later, when you will get the new Passport made, you might have to go through the Visa stamping process again.

My wife had her passport renewal done last month with her surname following mine. I received per last oct24 and i want to know how do i update cic regarding my wife's passport changes. I hope to receive feedback from you guys. Thanks.

Wait for 2 weeks and send copies of new passports along with cover letter and details of your application to your VO. Also inform them by email.

Just now got the MR mail from consultant. NDVO sent the MR request on 21-10-2014.

Second line was updated on 15-10-2014.

The elections here in Brazil were absolutely amazing....

All the people went to the streets last year to complain about the government, everybody that was in the World Cup Station was booing the president and when they (ok... we) had the future in our hands, we just voted for this person to stay there for 4 more years..... come on.... that's definitely not what we were supposed to do.... All the manifestations and riots worth nothing....

The worldwide economics agree with it, so our stock exchange market went down today and the american dollar raised more than 5% in ONE DAY.... so..... what can we expect for the next years?!?!?

After receiving PER from CIC when file will get transferred to local VO?

How we will come to know that our file is transferred, as i need to inform then change in my companies address.

You will not hear anything from them for around 45 days after PER. So after PER, wait for 2-3 weeks and then send the updated address info to your VO.

CIC already has my application since 27th August, but reading this forum, I realized that nobody has made the same thing as I did with the Proof Of Funds (POF) part....

I hadn't had enough funds to demonstrate, so I was told to insert my IRS declaration.

Actually I had the Proof of funds for 1 person, but I am applying with my wife, so I needed to show more usable money, right?!?!

I really triple checked all the documents and I am confident that this is the only issue... Roll Eyes

I do have more than Enough money to prove now, so If they ask, I can send a new POF right away!

Do you guys think that It might hinder my CC charge and/or my PER HuhHuh??
