One of my reference letters was written by me ....describing duties. I attached of course payslips, contract and other support docs.
The other reference letter was written by manager but no letterhead. And finally the one that had the company logo hadnt any biz card.

Looks like CIO is busy issuing PER till first week of JULY. No new charges have been reported (except for one today for 9th July). I guess the next CIC update may be a massive jolt to many of the caps (atleast the top 5)!!

Any thoughts as to why there is a slow down in charging of Apps?

Congratulations for PER.

You need to write to cio to withdraw your application with all possible details like name surname, dob, pp number application delivery date, noc etc.

In my openion now you can not be rejected directly for noc mismatch by vo, if you have doubt about noc mismatch, then you should send a revised reference letter covering job duties in detail matching the noc you have applied in using cse.

I have similar doubt.

I have applied for 2132 with matching job duties from Ex managers. At present I am not sure weather I will be able to get into CAP & receive PER. So I am thinking to send another application 2232 NOC which has some duties matching to my work experience & i think that I can qualify.

In 1st application , in background declaration form to keep it simple I gave info that my all experience matches to 2132 with required reference letters.


1. Should I try sending 2nd application for 2232 where in I can show (which is not elaborated in 1st application) that i worked with duties matching to 2232 for 1-2 years out of 8.
2. If yes, should reference letter be taken from same persons or get from another colleagues?
3. Is there any risk for doing 2 application like above ?

Hi All,

I got PER on 18th Oct.
I have 3 queries regarding my file.

1. My son's passport is expiring in Oct 2015. Do I need to get his passport renewed now or 6 months are enough after MR?
2. He is having American Passport. Do I need to inform USA embassy about his PR once he get it?
3. I appeared for IELTS again and got better score and my wife also got her IELTS score. When I filed initially then I did not include her IELTS and achived 67 points with my old IELTS score. Once my file transferred to NDVO, can I supply new IELTS score along with my wife's IELTS score or that is useless now?

1. Do renew passport now. If PPR gets delayed and 6 months validity doesn't remain on passport, it will be an issue for visa stamping, though it doesn't look like it will happen.
2. No need to inform US embassy.
3. It is useless to attach IELTS reports now as points computation is already done and you have already qualified.
