- Generic Form (Updated dependent section)
- Additional Dependents Form (Updated dependent section)
- Bank Statement for POF
- 6 Photographs for your Child
- Schedule 3 (updated settlement funds)

Please go through the Document Checklist thoroughly in case I have missed any documents above.

And - Congratulations !

Also copy of BC and passport and national ID (if any) of the child, pictures, application fee (CAD150), and updated forms for yourself and wife (family information, generic form).

[size=20pt] Am slightly diverting from the main topic here, but the people who are applying under IT categories (2173,2174, 2172 etc) and people who are applying under managerial categories (typically NOCs starting with 0***), they might have heard about the requirement for Canadian experience and hence the need to upgrade their education. (typically people who have worked as IT Project Managers/IT Program Managers/Business Consultants/Management Consultants/IT advisory Consultants/Software Engineers/Team Leads/Strategy Consultants/Financial Consultants etc etc. I have four questions for them as below

1- What are the courses and universities and programs you guys are considering to upgrade yourself to make your CV Canada worthy?

2- Should we start a whtsapp group or Facebook group to Network and know about the possible educational upgrade options that we have?

3- As in point 2, if there is already any such network group on whtsapp/facebook etc., can anyone send me an invite or add me to that group? I would be very grateful.

4- If there is no such group existing presently, let me know and I will start one on either whtsapp or Facebook.

I have made a HUGE MISTAKE:

I wrote down my job title (financial planner) different than the one I have on my employer's reference letter (financial consultant)

Will they send me back the application to correct it after waiting 4 months?

e.g. <<< UCI >>> Medical and RPRF receipt

If one has to show home loan as liability, then the corresponding house should be shown as asset too. Net liability is almost always negative, meaning it will not in fact be a liability.

I certainly agree that if you own a house it should be listed as part of your assets.

I disagree that it's not a liability. If you owe money it's a liability, even if the asset is worth more than the loan amount such that the net position is positive. If you own a 100k house with a 50k loan, your net position on the house is +50k but you still have a 50k liability and it still must be disclosed.

Same is the case with me

I applied in August and still waiting for PCC. I had written a NDVO and they gave me extension of 20 days to submit i.e. till 30-Nov

But I am not sure if 20 days would be sufficient for you, as my fingerprints reached on 12-Aug and I am expecting to receive the report in mid Nov.

You can write to NDVO and ask for atleast 1 month extension.

@ Forum.... Sorry for my ignorance, Do everyone has to get FBI clearance as well as Indian PCC or people who stayed more than 6 months in USA are to arrange for the same. For a lot of ppl in forum r applying for FBI clearance. I've never never been to North America or Europe so do I need to be applying for FBI clearance along with Indian PCC if asked for PCC later in processing stage. Thanks in adv.

Hi All,

I have applied to NOC 2174 and my application reached CIC on 3rd July.
Since the cap is reached and i am not yet being charged. Is this the end of road for me for this year?
Also I have not received the file from CIC based on cap reached that keeps me believing that i am still in the boat.

I'm sorry to say your chances are very very low. But it will take them a while to return applications. For applicants from some countries it can take up to 2 months to arrive.

I suggest you begin preparing another application if you qualify under a different NOC, otherwise you already have a head start for EE.
