Hello Member,

Since we are speculating that the completeness check for the application received in the month of July, 2014 has been done by now, i have below questions ?

1. how will an applicant come to know whether his/her application is accepted/rejected
2. Do we expect to receive an email from CIC about the same
3. Is CC/DD being charged the only way to know about the stage of one's application

Sending an email to CIC and getting reply on that generally takes 30-45 days and hence is it suggested to send a CSE to CIC with getting UCI.

CC charged on 8th Oct.

No PER email yet, should I be worried? :'( :'(

You should receive it in the coming days. PER is generally sent within ~2 weeks since charging.

Total application nos. shud be : pending+(MR+PPR+VISA)....isnt it?

and if it is not there... (see..in many cases)... what happens to the rest of the apps..???

Similar case happened with one of my friend. His application was received on 18-June. He sent a mail on 28-Aug for asking the status of application. Yesterday he got a reply that "Please be advice that your application is in initial processing at CIO Sydney. You will contacted in due course."
Now on one side two July applicant already got his file back and this June applicant is still under initial stage.

2. Do we expect to receive an email from CIC about the same not unless you send a query or receive PER
3. Is CC/DD being charged the only way to know about the stage of one's application yes, or you can contact CIO and learn nothing from a reply like "we will contact you in due course"

Sending an email to CIC and getting reply on that generally takes 30-45 days and hence is it suggested to send a CSE to CIC with getting UCI. CSE from CIC website will end up in the same mailbox that is used by CIO, so it's the same thing

Yes, the only way is to opt for 3rd point or to send an email to CIC. No other alternative bro.
