I'm new to this forum. I am applying under 2173-software engineer category.

I couriered my application packet 2 days back and courier status shows its yet to be delivered. I believe it will be delivered in next 2-3 days.

while going through this forum, i learnt that current CAP is updated till june'14 applications. It has worried me a bit, under category 2173 CAP is already showing as 425 :-[

how do you speculate the situation? Are there any chances now? Please do suggest based on your experience!

I am 11june 2281 DD Applicant and still no NEWS.. ( 2281 is getting lower CC/DD charge ?)

i have heard about 'CAIPS', 'FOSS' and 'GCMS

and few website which are provides such information for 40$.

I have applied my file in mid September with a copy of basic WES report. Can any forumite member or PER holder tell me that getting a WES online fsw package necessary or is a basic Wes report enough?

[size=10pt]2 things wrong with that. First , you MUST send WES FSWP report, not the basic one. Second, you will need to send the original report, not a copy. You need to ask WES to upgrade your report for FSWP. [/size]

Congrats on sending the app.

In your case you have every chance of getting in to the cap while considering the current 2174 story (app's are getting charged even after filling the CAP in CIC web)

But you might be between 950 to 1000. So keep your fingers crossed. Enjoy the waiting

It's not weird at all. The first time you gave them only your name, so they looked and saw they don't have an application under your name entered into the system. The second time you gave them your UCI, so they looked and saw they don't have an application under your UCI entered into the system. Finally you gave them the courier information, and they were able to search on that to see that it is currently sitting on a shelf unopened because they haven't got to your date yet.

I said weird because i was receiving mail from both the addresses. And the confirmation mail came from the CSU that i replied on August 27. And i send the courier receipt to the case specific enquiry site. And that is on October 1 and i didn't receive any mail from them till now.

I have question regarding funds proof.. I am going to apply by last week of October. I have arranged the funds in October only. I got half of the funds from my dad. Do I need to submit some affidavit signed by my dad to show that He has given me the money???? I mean I want to prove that I didn't borrow money from any one.

Yup mate I sent them a original report but I am not sure what package did I selected in WES. Can u tell me what was the fees for WES fsw package..
