FSW 2014 Applicants Timeline- Lets Network Here.

Helloo everyone,

I want to share this news with you all. I'm a July 14 applicant. On July 18 i send an enquiry to CSU using their enquiry address asking about the status of my application. FYI this is the first time I applied for FSWP. And that time I didn't know about this forum. Anyway on August 17 I send another mail to them. This time I used the CIC websites case status form. On August 27 CSU(CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry) has replied me informing me that they don't have my application record and asked me to give my NAME, DOB and UCI(If known) to conduct more search. Point to be noted here is that I have applied for study permit before applying FSWP. My visa office is Singapore. Anyway Singapore visa office provided me the UCI number. This UCI number I used in the FSWP application. Anyway I replied to their mail but I didn't provide the UCI number. Funny thing is on October 1 I received a mail from the CIC's case status site informing that as of that day they don't have any record of my application may be because it's in the queue for processing. And also asked me to provide the courier receipt to conduct more search. I provided. DHL was the courier. Today my time at 5.20 pm that is Nova Scotia time 8.20 am I received a mail from CSU(CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry ). And that is.......

Weird Isn't it? And By the way CIC works at night too. Because all my mail was read after midnight local time. How I know? I use Google chrome and my email address is Gmail with mail tracker that tracks when my mail was read and how many times it was read with time and date. I hope this information will be useful for everyone.

My Credit Card has been replaced by a chip credit card due to RBI guidelines. And the card I had used for payment advice to CIC has now been INVALIDATED. My new credit Card has the same number but a different CVV and expiry date.
Card Company: American Express

I am now planning to send a new payment form to CIC with new credit card details. Will be emailing/Couriering/faxing all three documents.
Sending 4 documents now:
1. Cover Letter
2. Payment form
3. Xerox of previous payment form (Cancelled)
4. Bio-Pages of passport

In my cover letter I am going to include the following details:
Name:
Passport number:
Date of birth:
NOC Code:
Application courier docket number
Date of receipt of Application by CIC:
Person name to whom package was delivered:

Please let me know if I should include anything else ....?

any suggestion at all ?

If you pay through DD, certainly the choice must be paying in INR. For 2 adults, you have to pay CAD980 (if you pay in CAD) or INR53400.

The old card should b valid for next 60 days for use if u have not used th new card yet. Bank tells this, please confirm on this with them. It will save u from th tension.

It would be $980 in total for 2 persons and you can either pay in CAD or INR.

Please share your timelines. You have not entered yourself in SS ?

yep ... I am not worried about the CAP and other stuff ... Completeness checks will not include CC charge ... i think my turn will take about 2-3 weeks atleast... do completeness check have anything to do with Credit Card ?? Am i missing somehting ?? my brain's not working anymore ... Its been a long long day man, filled with relevations I didnt wanna know !!

We don't know how CIO works for sure. But thanks to a number of great thread members sharing their stories, we have observed that addendums received after completion checks were never matched with the app (supposedly because the app. leaves the mail room and is in queue for fee charging). This being said, I don't discourage you to send the new fee payment form, but act fast, use UPS and send a CSE to their email address mentioning UPS tracking number en route to their office and that it is indispensable to acknowledge this information. Oops..translation is my concern now. If you have separate national id's for your two kids.. I strongly suggest immediately send an addendum. Try better & accredited translators this time. All the best.
