Hi, I thought I was the 1st person whose application was signed by a new person - Collin on Tuesday morning i.e 13th May..

So here is the process, the student welfare wing(building next to sydenham college churchgate) of MUMBAI univ is authorized to attest mark sheet on behalf of the Registrar. You need to take all your originals(mark sheets+ small white passing certificate+ the really big convocation certificate). You need to carry photocopies along with original and one extra copy for the university record and blank envelopes. The timing is 11:00 Am to 2:00 Pm with lunch from 1;00 to 1:30. Post 2 they will not entertain you. They charge Rs 5 per copy and they will attest a max of 25 copies or 3 sets. Now here is the catch, If your mark sheets are more than 10 years old you need to either get an bonafide certificate from your college(recommended) or you get the mark sheet verified from the controller of education( long process and not recommended). Then you submit and wait for 25 working days for them to attest the same. All the best

Tip: This can be happen soon if you insist in speaking with the director. I waited for 6 hrs and met him on that day and he was kind enough to consider. Unfortunately he does not come there daily.

So I shared my job roles yest and someone was kind enough to reply. The roles are split in two NOC (2171 and 2173). My designation is Business Analyst and that is NOC 2171. However, there are overlapping roles very similar to 2173.

It seemed that 2173 was more evident than 2171 on the reference letter but 2173 is Software Engineer. Now for Q12a should I write the primary occupation as Software engineer with code 2173 or do I write my designation with code 2173. Business Analyst is not in the list of example for 2173 but all my letters have business analyst

Please help

No response yet, people please help, should I go with 2171 or 2173. If 2173 what should i enter in Q12 a NOC

Little Confused with the Caps:
As per CIC Website, 50 Eligibile Occupations: Each - Cap - 1000
That should make it
50*1000 = 50,000 is nt it?
Then how come overall cap for NOCs is 25,000?
(As per cic, 500 for phd, that makes it 25,500- even more confusing!!

Am I missing something?

Focus more on the job descriptions of your intended NOC for which you will be accessed for points.
FSW is 95% job description or duties.......nobody really care about your tittle.
Just make sure you job descriptions tallies your intended NOC for which you will be accessed for point.

Due to many people sending it to WES, it takes 2 weeks to 3 weeks.
Make sure you read their requirements before sending to WES to maintain accuracy, or it will get more delayed.

Process:
You need to take a printout and fill a form which is given by WES (I have it with me, if you want i can give it)
Transcripts or photocopies of your mark sheet to be stamped, signed and dated by your exam control authority or registrar
This needs to be packed in institute envelope and referred to WES through them. (Well you have to post it yourself)

Hi Experts,

I am a FSW 2014 applicant. I applied last year but my file was returned because the cap reached limit. This year, my file has already reached CIC today and I just realized that in form IMM5669e background declaration Personal History section, although I mentioned details without any gap, including the information when I was in my homeland India and when I was in USA for my work assignments on work visa but I forgot to mention the days I visited other countries (UK for 3 days and Canada for a week) from USA while I was still out of India and still on USA work visa.

However, I have mentioned all travels including USA work, UK and Canada tourism visits in another form IMM5562 supplementary info travels.

My question is, would not mentioning tourism visits in IMM5669e personal history cause rejection of my application? Should I send another courier to CIC with the modified form by including these visits information. Please advise. Thanks.

realistically, this should not be an issue. one thing is for sure-you should not yet send another package. however, as most things with this program, it all depends on the mood of an officer reviewing your application. lets hope for best!

Hey Guys!!

I am not sure is this Bad luck or what but after going through the time line taken by DHL I used Fedex from Delhi on 8th May. I dont know what they did that my package reached Mumbai and kept lying there till 13th May when i saw no movement through the tracking number on their website. I called up Fedex n they said the courier agent you used has not yet given us the package!! I asked them then how come i have the fedex tracking number? to which they said that agents can generate it themselves. Anyhow I spoke to the agent n when he took the action my packaged finally moved from Mumbai on 13th and now it will be reaching NS on 20th May. Following is the current status of my package as yet: No I am not sure what Route it is taking to reach Canada, Mumbai> Dubai> France....

Anyone got any idea on this Route ?? Also, any idea if I will make it in the CAP for 1112, if my application reach by 20th?? Please do reply !!

Sweetypie2501 : CAP is for 1000 for each occupation for sure.. However, overall capacity intake is 25,500... 500 surely for PhD.
So as far as 25,000 people are positive to get a PR they will close FSW program, irrespective of any occupation has filled with 1000 or not... So say for e.g. NOC abcd is 900 full, but 25,000 have been filled including other NOCs..
They won't take more than 900 for NOC abcd.

Hi,

I have few queries related to ECA for FSW. Please help me in understanding the points mentioned below:
1. I am a graduate of B.tech Biotechnology but working in IT-software field and having 2.4 yrs of experience in the same. Should I send only my B.Tech (Biotechnology) degree credentials for assessment to WES or I should include my current resume also detailing my work experience?

2. Does WES use Standard Mail via Canada Post for sending ECA reports to the candidate to any country other than US or Canada? How much time generally does Standard Mail via Canada Post takes for ECA report delivery to the candidate for the country like India?

1.only photocopy of ur B.tech needs to be sent to WES ........they don't need your resume.
2.you will have options for standard mail by post and international courier depending on your cash and urgency.
I will advice you go with international courier delivery which is about $80 compared to standard mail of about $30.With international courier service.......u will get it within 1 week but for the other one....it may be longer.

Don't also forget that you will mandate your academic institution to send your transcript to WES too.
