My File was received on 6th June nd i still got no response from CIC. Checked yesterday with my Bank DD also not encashed as the amount is pending as outstanding amount. What can be the possibility? . Getting anxious and worried :-[

I sent an email to cci on aug 27th. Do you know which date email are they replying now. I see one of the posts that someone from aug 15th got a response and somebody on 27th is still waiting.

My application was received on 29th Of September at Canada office. I lost my credit card (the one I used in application) in a small incident yesterday and have to cancel it. What can I do now to get my payment information updated?

Thats very unfortunate. Now you should immidiatly send new card details or a new dd to cio with a cover letter stating your concern along with all details of your original application in a labled envelop "new payment document for application dated ddmmyyy

Then send an email to cio on the day your new form will be delivered with acknowledgement details and your concern And also request them to acknowledge the inclusion of new payment documents

Hello everyone!! Please could you help me?

My application was received JUly, 24th 2014. But unfortunately, I just realised I might have sent the Duplicate WES assessment certificate, for clarity, i did not photocopy the document rather I ordered for duplicate which I am thinking I had sent, I did not see any difference among the documents but my attention was drawn to this fact when some one recently posted that he got his application back due to sending 'wes assessment duplicate' instead of the original. i never knew they were different, all looked the same

please what should I do right now? I tried as much as possible to do every thing right, but this makes me feel really bad. I will appreciate your advice.

I submitted my application last month, and would like to raise one point. Nothing is mention about full time employment on my job offer letter and reference letters, however I have included last three months pay slips.

Will this create a problem in assessing my eligibility?

Mentioning full time or working hours is mendatory. You should get a revised/supplementary letter from your supervisor/hr and send it. For how to send docs Please read my reply to gaurav_2172 this will give you an insight

If u have still not blocked the credit card, refrain from blocking it. Nowadays, with 3d secure pin, chance of mis use is negligible. U have the option of asking the bank to allow only one transaction to go thru i.e from cic. AGAIN!!! DONT BLOCK UR CC IF U HAVE STILL NOT DONE IT!!!

My Application was Received on 7th August.

1. By when I can expect to hear from CIC? I am first time applicant
2. I didn't had any DOB certificate as such. But I included the PAN CARD, Class Xth Marksheets and Certificates, and also the PAN CARD. Would that Suffice for the DOB Proof.?

Xth marksheet is accepted in lieu of BC provided it has your date of birth and the name of atleast 1 parent.

The normal time of file transfer to NDVO is 30 to 35 days, so now just relax. I have got my PER in first week of Sep and still haven't heard from NDVO, hoping to hear by end of next week, hopefully before mini Diwali Vacation for VO.

Thanks Century..

That means VISA stamping is also done at local VO? then why does it take soooo long for NDVO only, other VOs are pretty fast..

After PER, all the communication is with local VO.
