My Application was Received on 7th August.

1. By when I can expect to hear from CIC? I am first time applicant
2. I didn't had any DOB certificate as such. But I included the PAN CARD, Class Xth Marksheets and Certificates, and also the PAN CARD. Would that Suffice for the DOB Proof.?

If your class X marksheet has your parents name and DOB, they might, might accept it.
Chances are not good.
You should get your BC ready.

First of all, appreciations to everyone of this wonderful forum.. I have been going through posts and all of you are very helpful to each other. Feel proud to join this forum..

We are from India. We are preparing our application with my wife as principal applicant for NOC 1123. All the documents are ready except for Job Reference letter and DD. Working on them. We have filled our forms but request you to clarify following :

1. Education split up : 8 (Elementary) + 4 (Secondary School) + 4 (Eng) + 2 (Masters) right? In the Ed details, should we also write Grade 9 as form asks for? We do not have certificate for Grade 9.. Just mention it?

2. Some forms such as Common-law union, use of representative, Additional dependents etc are not applicable to us. Is it ok if we do not send them at all? or write "Not Applicable" and include them in package?

3. We are including 3 Months bank statements, PF balance statement, Stocks statement and FD statements.. Fine?

4. My wife did not get JD letter from one of the employers, It is different NOC and she doesn't need these points to cross 67? I hope it wouldn't be a problem

5. Is it OK to staple supporting documents which have more than 2 pgs?

My app received date is 9th may and MR date was 29th sept. I underwent medicals on 4th oct.
I did call FBI, they give standard answer that it will take bit longer

I have deadline of 13th Nov to send PCC to NDVO.
I guess I will shoot them an email.

FBI is the investigation agency of USA. Applicants from US have to apply for PCC from FBI. which country are u from?

Hi Friends,

I have a US credit card (visa). But I left US almost a year ago and at present I am in India. As I wanted all communication from bank with my Indian address I got it changed. Now to pay the RPRF Fee online I guess I can use that.. At the time of payment I need to enter the address which I guess I should put my Indian address... Just wanted to confirm if anybody have done so..
Also, we need to pay CAD490 per adult for RPRF.. So I have to pay CAD980 for myself and my spouse... As I will be paying with US credit card do I need to convert CAD980 in USD and pay USD885 or if I will enter 980 then automatically I will be charged approximately $885 (converted into equivalent CAD amount).. Hope I am not asking a silly question.. I have not used one country's CC for other country ever..

Just proceed with the CIC RPRF payment link. It's a very straightforward process, just input the number of people you are paying for, and the system will do the maths on it's own. Then just complete the data as per any other online purchase and pay. Your bank will do foreign exchange on your behalf. And that's it.

In case I will be using US Credit Card for paying RPRF, will there be any additional charge other than the converted Canadian Dollar equivalent.

Please confirm..

Also, as I understand after paying I need to take the print out of receipt and send that to NDVO..

Any idea CIC is done with completeness check for applications till what date? Anyone from FSW who has recieved his file back recently could let us know the reason and the date on which the file was recieved by CIO.

I am 4th June APPLICANT and still waiting. Till now my DD is not encashed.

I really praying god, if my applicaiton is rejected, better to get back it fastly so that we can re Apply

My File was received on 6th June nd i still got no response from CIC. Checked yesterday with my Bank DD also not encashed as the amount is pending as outstanding amount. What can be the possibility? . Getting anxious and worried :-[

Couple of questions...

1) Once Medicals are received, passport request is sent by CIC / local VO?
2) Passports are to be submitted to CIC or VO?
