varuen, Canada's policy change over night. do you think they will keep express entry open with Federal skilled worker and Federal skilled worker separately only for 2014?

You are misguiding people. The fact that they MIGHT announce new MIs is indeed possible. So is the collision of Earth with an asteroid. BUT as of now, we should act with accordance with relevant MIs. And they clearly state that the FSW program will be open until April 30, 2015 even with EE kicking off in January, 2015.

Why I am expressing the same, as one of the applicant got rejection on birth certificate issue.
Few people suggested that he had sent translated copy, affidavit and notarized but may be not sending the original native language notarized copy could be the reason for rejection.

No need to worry. Yes folks applied in first/second week of june are currently getting their PERs/Charged, you can refer the Spread Sheet for estimated time of CC/DD charge. You should be inside the cap, given the estimates and trend.
Just wait & watch... You should be ok.

Thanks. From the spreadsheet, when I check the "Apps by NOC/Cap estimates" tab, this is what I see for NOC 2171 (Information systems analysts and consultants):

Estimated date by which your application should be received to be in the cap
Optimistic estimate - 12/22/2014
Realistic estimate - 10/9/2014
Pessimistic estimate - Cap became full on 9/25/2014?

Anyways, what has to happen will happen. If I am reach Canadian shores, I will. If not, then so be it

Yes we know that but we should not come to any conclusion until we get any update on CIC website.

I got back my file yesterday. I was too depressed to post yesterday. June 24 applicant. I had originally sent a copy of my ECA report then I sent the original after but they didn't attach it to my file even though I had a UCI number.

CIO letter dated Sep 24 and received package back on Oct 1

NOC 2281. What are my chances now?

Sorry to hear. My advise is send ASAP attaching original ECA. dont loose hope. you never know. Best of luck.

Hi all have some sad news to share my package was returned because the bank draft was staledated.... But I confirm with the bank that the draft is valid for 1 yr..... I think this is the end for me as I had applied b4 and cap was filled now this... I don't think I stand a chance again.... My noc is 2131 .....good luck to all
