At last, got Reference Letter with job duties from one of my employers showing experience of 1 years 5 Months in one of the eligible NOCs.

However, I have over 8 years of work experience in total ( with other job related documents but without Reference letter with job duties)

Please advise the Points i get for Work Exp under this scenario. Please don't paste the instruction guide link .... I am already confused.

Yes check the website of your nearest consulate, they have mentioned the procedure and forms you need to fill. You need to visit consulate to submit all the forms and then they will call you once your PCC is ready to collect.

You have to apply with the Indian consulate covering your residing location.

if under same NOC then u can write explanation letter stating the reasons of missing documents

My Bachelor's degree is 4 yrs duration. where should I place my Master's duration (1.5 yr)? is it under Univ/college option or post secondary school?

brother u must put all of your education u did after ur bachelors under post graduate section. but one thing is confusing....masters are normally for one year or two....I haven't heard any master for 1.5 years? kindly check your records to avoid error. if u have done masters in one year but ur convocation or degree is awarded after 5 6 months then don't count it as 1.5 years.......its only 1 year masters. I hope u understand my point.

Hello....i m new in this forum...my fiancee has applied for pr nd her application has been received but she doesn't mentioned me as a spouse nd i wana to attach my file along with her...some of my frnds advised me to wait till uci nd then inform cic.. I wana to know what to do next after informing cic...injust wana to know the documents required
Nd i have done ielts in academics...is there any need to do general ielts again????

dear one thing is clear for sure.....FIANCEE is not any relationship that is recognized by cio or cic or on their application forms....so u have to be a spouse or something else that is recognizable by cic/cio..........u just cannot select fiancée and go ahead as its not there to select.

second thing.....u MUST have to attempt English language test no matter u r a primary applicant or dependent. its clearly mentioned on cic website that dependent spouse are required to attempt language test and must score 6 overall to get the benefits of spousal language points, otherwise u will lose points there.

As I wait for my ECA i was thinking about how best to send the application to CIC and got confused. If I courier should I use the courier company's packaging (box / envelope) or just my own envelope of the specified size?

Any thoughts / views / good practices?

No harm if the Courier company is offering you a discount for using their envelope.. provided it meets your size / specs

UPS is BEST INSIDE CANADA, application delivered within 18 hrs from ONTARIO

Also, within Canada Aramex is good... they use PUROLATOR 's services from ON to NS and delivers to CIO next day.. even same day (afternoon) if the packet departs early AM from ON

I think CIC is moving at good speed for 2013 cases.. Hopefully,2014 apps processing start date is not far..
