U should not submit tax return copy with ur application package....Its an unnecessary document and will make ur file more complex...Just be simple with the employment docs that are mentioned on the document checklist..Thts enough for us...

Hello all,

I am willing to apply under FSW- category 2132. My details are as under :
IELTS 7 (21 points calculated)
Age: 27 (12 points)
Degree: Bachelor of engineering (21 points-- Please correct if wrong)

My query is regarding work experience. I have worked as maintenance engineer for almost 3 years and since last 2 years working as service engineer (doing mechanical job only). In total I have 5 years experience. Will they consider my experience as total 5 years or only 3 years. If they consider 5 years I am reaching the bottom line of 67 points but if they consider 3 years,I fall short of points.

Please suggest should I apply or not.

Also please tell me what are the chances of being within the cap if I apply by the end of this month.

Even though not exactly regarding tax returns, but - I've hired a consultant and he suggested to submit copies of W-2 forms as an additional proof of my work experience in U.S., along with their equivalent from Ukraine (as I've been working in Ukraine as well).
W-2 forms are never mentioned in the official requirements, and I think I've never seen any recommendations here on the forum to submit them, but it won't hurt, I guess. Carefully chosen additional documents can help strengthen your case.

I'm not telling that's what everyone should do - I'm just sharing my experience.

yes, its matching accoring to the requirement speicfied by CIC under code 2132. -- duties included maintenance of all types of Mechanical equipement and Project activities.

So I believe they'll consider all 5 years of experience.

Why not for spouse? All dependants 18 or over (16 or over in some places) need PCC.

Your old passport is unnecessary, just include your current valid passport. Best of luck.
