Friends, please advise.

I will be sending my application to CIC in the beginning of October. Probably until the 10th. The NOC I will be applying to is 0113.

It seems that the number of received applications is increasing very fast as per the "Application received" website (now at 3510).

Do you think that by the time I send it, it might already be filled?

0113 should be fine.

Yes,in my reference letter employer has mentioned 30 hours in average but the title is part-time.
I can ask him to change the title to full-time if you think the problem will be solved by doing this.

so, CIC speeding and slowing, speeding and slowing....their BAROMETER need a replacement NOW

Their barometer does not have a diameter :-*

So it's always unpredictable to measure fsw so is always a waiting game.

Hi All,

I had a confusion in "File Transferred to Local VO" and "Processing Started" status. Once a candidate gets PER, it is understood that the file will be transferred to the local VO. But how will the candidate know that. The ECAS status only shows "in Process" and when we click it. It shows one liner that your file was received on May 14th..... Can anyone please elaborate on the clear definition of different status after PER?

Hello Everyone,

Did anybody got PER for May 23rd application?

And I paid my fee through money order from US(USPS). I am trying to check if my money order is chased or not; its taking long time. has anybody done it before ?? I mean if someone tracked their money order status in US!!

Another question: In case i dont get charged or my app is returned then probably how long it will take to come back ? any idea!

Hi experts,

I am a May 12 applicant and received my PER on 19th Aug 2014. Following is my ECAS status:

We received your application for permanent residence on May 12, 2014.

What should be the next status? and will this end of month bring some MR request for May 12 applicants?

Please give your valuable inputs.

The rule is the document submitted should show one of the parents name common hence I believe copy of her passport which have father name will be sufficient. In addition you can attach her marriage certificate as well. To be on safe side you can add a cover letter describing the situation if you like.
Just labels with complete mailing address not envelops.
You can put photographs in small envelope & mentioned photos on it.

I will be submitting my app as soon as I get WES report in my hand .. meanwhile my following queries still remain:

1. how do I get marks for my sister in Toronto.. She doesnt have BC, her Xth & Xth marksheet doesnt have mother fathers name, her passport have them but that is inadmissible I believe, her Marriage certificate has only fathers name, her Pan card has only fathers name..

I have put an affidavit from my mother father that they are parents to us .. is that sufficient or is their another path I can explore..

2. Mailing labels mean two small labels with my address or does it mean envelope..

3. Since everything is to be put in order of document checklist, how DO I put my photographs so that they are in order..
