Hi to all!!!

My husband and I are sending the application end of october.

*How long does WES take to return report?
*Applying to NOC 4011 do we have time?
*If applying end of October application will be opened by CIC about 2.5 months after aplication from what I have read recently, that would be beginning of January, will FSWP still be open by then or does the Entry Express take over?

Thanks!!!

GO AHEAD AS PER CANADA GAZZETTE DATED 24TH APRIL 2014(LEARNT FROM HERE ONLY, FORUM) THEY WILL ACCEPT APPLICATIONS UNTIL 30TH APRIL 2014

Thanks

So just to confirm, no affidavit is required from the translator..just a stamped translation by an authorized translator would do?

The follwoing page mentioned affidavit specifically. But its really hard to find a translator who would do it. Hence I am double checking

The cic website says..

The requirement for a medical examination serves several purposes:

to protect the health of Canadians;
to protect the safety of Canadians;
to reduce and prevent excessive demand on Canada's health and social services.

NONE of this is jeopardized by a small operation for you or spouse..You are surely welcome in CANADA by all means! All the best!
Thank you trk1 ...+1 for your great answer

It should work. Don't take offence-I guess, you remove the space in between @ else it will bounce.

Good afternoon forumites. Need help with a small challenge.

My friend wants to apply under NOC 1113. Her birth certificate is lost. What document can she submit to replace this? Should she do an affidavit or should the affidavit be done by her parents?

Please advise.

Thank you.

just a basic translation with the translator stamp is needed, they have enough authorized documents from your side like the birth certificate and the marriage certificate plus the passport copy, dont worry

Any receivers of PER yet today?

Police Clearance Certificate(PCC) From Kuwait
=============================================

Dear All

I would like to share the steps of taking PCC from Kuwait.

1) Once you recieved the status "We have started processing your application" in ECAS :) then you can start preparing for PCC. It will take only 5 days to get it.

2) Take the photocopies of PER mail, Passport (front,back,visa stamp page) and Civil Id .I took the same documents (except civil id copy, I placed the passport copy of visa cancellation page and an authorize letter from my wife for processing this on her behalf) of my wife as well since I cancelled her residence visa and relocated to my home country already.

3) Don't forget to carry your original Passport and Civil id.

4) Go to Embassy of Canada,Daiya,Kuwait City (https://www.google.com/maps/place/Embassy+of+Canada/@29.358332,48.019169,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x3fcf9cb8277a134f:0x6e8f5ad01267d961). Get amused by seeing the canadian consulate in a housing colony:)!!!

5) There you will find a security guard, straight away he will ask "You come for PCC":). Answer "yes" and he will ask us to sign and will take our mobile phone and all and will allow you to enter the premisis.

6) Once you go into the building you will see the reception and the nice receptionist will ask you politely "What can I do for you sir" (Can't see this in any other governement offices here ;):) ). tell her that you want PCC form and give her the copies of PER mail, Passport and Civil Id. She will give you a form (only one page) with a canadian consulate stamp on it. Hurray!!! .... first step is over ... this process will take hardly 5 minutes....say a thank you to the receptionist and go back to your car. Don't forget to collect those things that you gave to the security person while entering.

7) Fill the form by giving your personal details such as name, DOB,address etc... and sign it.

8) Now take the documents ie, Form from Canadian Embassy, copies of Passport (front,back,visa stamp page),Civil Id and one passport size photo with blue background.

9) Start the car a enter the string "Ministry of Interior - Department of fingerprints,Al-Dajeej,Kuwait City,Kuwait" into your GPS (https://www.google.com/maps/place/Ministry+of+Interior+-+Department+of+fingerprints/@29.261402,47.968124,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x3fcf997092b3ffc7:0xffc19b13638cf23) it will direct to the office. If you coming from 6th ring road take the left road in front of passport office after the city centre and go straight till the end and take right then you can see the building on the left side.Park your car there and go to the second entrance of the building ( the same side you just drove now).

10) It is a small L shaped room , go straight and turn right you can see two poilcemen sitting there. Go to anyone and give the documents.

11) Police man will check your documents and will take a sticker ,and will stamp it over the form then will give you the reciept infact the copy of same stamp, keep that in your wallet, this will be the reference for getting the original PCC (He asked about my wife's availability and told him that I cancelled her residence already she is now in home country, then he wrote something in arabic over her form). Then he will give the form to us and will ask us to go and provide the finger print. The fingerprint machines are located at the same room itself . There you have to give the form to the officer standing in fornt of it, he will ask your original passport for verification and will adjust the digital camera infront of us and will take a photograph then he will scan your fingers as well and will tell you "come after 5 days" . Hurray!!!!!!........ second steps finished!!!.

12) Go to the same office after 5 days and give the receipt and your take your PCC !!!!!:):).... Don't forget to say thanks ...:)

Dear Seniors give 10 points to me :):)

Hi All,

I have applied under NOC 2173 and my application was received at CIC on 18/06/2014.I changed my daughter's name after that and got a new passport.So the passport information which CIC is having is different from the current one. Could you please tell me what needs to be done.Should I notify CIC or once my application has reached the local VO office only I need to inform.Will this lead to any sort of rejection after the payment is made?
Thank you
