My WES evaluation was completed on Aug 25th as well. I have not received it yet. I also used regular mail option.

Do you guys think we should reorder the duplicate copy via express mail? (a bit expensive though)

not specific in which manner u have mentioned that u should collect more and asked CIC to contact you for other credit card...
This all is rubbish i believe...

And every one has their own problems and countdowns we can not make a joke of that...

Only seniors correct me if i am wrong...

If there is a problem and CC needs to be used then how the forum seniors can help in deciding which one to use.. And my comment was for humor only...
By the way can you suggest which card he should use if he has 10 Credit cards from 10 banks... The answer was as per the question... Here no one is Grade 1 student... All are graduate or post graduate.. So silly questions should be answered in silly form only... Other answers had already been given that use DD.. If not then CC..and keep CC in safe place.. increase the limit of CC and so on..why to ask the same question again and again..

Please give an address of your known in the application form in USA.

Also send money for two three reports and tell them to send these reports at these three different addresses.

Your known in usa can courier your tepiry which will be a way faster method than normal post.

My report from June hadn't reached me yet, but Oscar asked me to follow the above procedures and I was able to get a new report couriered from USA from my relative.....

I received my MR from NDVO today and they asked me to submit all the documents within 45 days. I am 7th May applicant.

Question:

I sent my FBI finger print request and it reached on 22nd July. My CC was charged on 22nd Aug. I havent received the report yet. How long does it take for the FBI request now-a-days?

I dont wanna take any chance and so I am gonna send another FBI request tomorrow. If I dont receive FBI clearance letter in another 45 days, Can I state the reason to NDVO to buy some more time ??? Plz adv

If you don't heard anything, send your query at centralized-intake-office @ cic.gc.ca ; you will get response within 42 days maximum. Give your full name, Dob, and passport number while making query.

Dear Century, thanks for the reply. I'll write to the mentioned email id. But do we have any insights into what happens to applications that are 'left behind' during processing? What are the possible reasons & what are the chances of getting PER for such applications? Any precedent that we know of?

+1 for strongly advocating the use of DDs (with 6 month validity) instead of CCs. Although the latter has the added advantage of letting you know when CIC takes payment of your fees, I would take a week more of waiting (to get PER) any day over the bank cancelling the card and putting pause to the Canadian dream.

Why Not... one of my friend used CC because he wanted to know a bit early.. other friend used CC because he does not have sufficient money in his account... So its preferable to use DD but risky to... If someone wants to take risk either in majboori or whatever reason let them do it...

I am sure after your this post some other member will ask that in CIC website it is mentioned that we can use CC or DD then why are you suggesting that we should only use DD.. has something changed at CIC end recently.. I have only CC option so should I not apply as you have mentioned that we should only use DD...

After 7th May pool at CIC now it's for New delhi visa office. Seems like long wait for guys after 7th May.

There are lot of 7th May applicants waiting to hear from NDVO.....I am one of them

Checking email every hour.......Don't know whats gonna happen next...already applied for PCC....waiting for PSK's call to collect (I had to go under verification due to address change)

Agree with you Darshmodi........... Everyone needs help one day. Just because some one comes for help, we dont need to look down upon them. They have come to ask for help thinking we know better and some of them have suggested a better way even if it was a painful repeat for them. But, heckling or making fun...... not a very helpful response.

Please help him and tell him which CC he should use. :-* :-* :-* Red one or Green one... ..Visa or MasterCard...

I think the idea is to help such members from future trouble - do not look for the words - yes it is said in a way of humor. But go for the real meaning friends, we don't want sandy's application to be in trouble after so many months of hard work. aha is only using humor to convey a message, not hurt him / her.

CC is like a ticking bomb that can explode anytime, especially from a country like India (though when I lived in US there too my CCs got changed due to major security theft issues at financial institutions, but those are still rare).

We all understand that many people are successful with CC too. But it is still not worth the risk, as it doesn't help later crying over the spilt milk, right?

If one doesn't have the funds then arrange for this one for sure, borrow for the DD from your friends / family as VO or CIC is never going to check on this one, TRUST ME.

That's all. We still don't intend to hurt anyone's feelings here. It will only hurt when God forbid the application comes back for an issue with CC, that the member has no control over later on. In DD one has total control, and that's a great thing.

+1 for your last line... Its better to get hurt at this point of time instead of after having the issue with the Red Coloured Credit Card :-* :-*
