Hey guys, quick question. Is Sydney VO always this slow? When do you think files will get transferred there?

I am from the 7th of May, already received PER about one month ago.

Some of the offices are moving so quickly at the moment... but nothing from Sydney

I know the questions aint aimed at me but I'd like to share my 2cents..

MY calcultion method is a function of 3 things:
1. SS represntation of the whole set of applications with CIC ... Can range from 23-30%.. different scenarios
2. Number of SS apps received/day by CIC .... that can be used to derive no. of total apps received/day at CIC
3. number of applications processed/day by CIC .. which is close to about 100....

You can actually eliminate 1. from the calculation, thus reducing the uncertainty.
There's a very useful chart to visualize it, "Application Status Dynamics" on the Charts tab. Length of each bar on it is proportional to number of applications in the spreadsheet. So in visual terms, it accounts for "2. Number of SS apps received on each particular day", and calculating 3 as well as the estimate just means drawing a straight line that touches first reported fee charge dates for each particular App Received date.

In FSW 2013 it was a straight line and then it slowed down after a few months. In our case, it was a straight line and then it sped up (as shown by the shorter line). First I thought it's just a noise, but after May 26 applications charging has started today, it was too obvious that CIC has increased their speed.



So this is basically a visualization of how the charge date estimates are calculated in the spreadsheet.

I am 21, May applicant in NOC: 2173 was waiting for CC charge that my friend whose credit Card details I had sent.
He lied to me and told yesterday only that his card was lost and new is in transit.
Please tell me if
1) I can send DD to CIC. Will they consider it now.
2) Do CIC send email if in any case transaction was not processed/failed.
Please reply ASAP as I can do something before application is returned.

I'm afraid it's bad news by now, they have been charging 21st through to 26thMay and they would attempt charge three times and if no joy they will return application as unable to take payment

NOC - 2174
DD Encash date - 24th July (1st August according to the Bank)
PER Date - 9th Sep

Can anyone please give me the link to update the SS.

Sorry to hear that bro but your friend made it bad for you. And there is no way you can send DD now, also CIC does not send any notification if CC charge does not go through

If your NOC is not that hot, just wait or prepare your docs for next app and resend

I am showing part of settlement funds as EPF from my previous employer.

when I download the passbook it gives me the statement till October 2013

I am not working in India since July 2013.

the website ask for some UAN Number to get the latest PF statement. I dont have this UAN Number as I havent got it from my previous employer. seems UAN has been recently introduced.

The website states

Even if you dont have your UAN no. you can still download your PF passbook. Try this link.

• EPFO has launched an Universal Account Number (UAN) based Member Portal to provide a number of facilities to its members through a single window
• Activate your registration to avail various facilities such as UAN card download, member passbook, updation of KYC information etc.
• As of now, only active members (contribution received through ECR for the wage month October 2013 onwards) would be able to register themselves.
• For registration, obtain UAN from your employer alongwith your member ID.
• Your mobile number would be required to activate registration.

So how should I explain to CIC about these facts and convince them that it is a latest statement I am sending dated October '2013.

It sped up as I courried CIO a new plug socket, a new card machine and a new computer for PER and some Starbucks coffee cards lmao

Here is another perspective based on the numbers from CIC Caps.

CIC Cap update from last Monday = 2760 PERs
PERs issued to the applicants on this forum = 620 (as of today, on Monday it was even lesser)

This means that the applicants on this forum represent only 620/2760 = 22.4% of the overall applicants. As far as I understand, this is wrong that this forum represents 30% of the overall applicants.
