You won't get any update until 1-2 months from the date they receive your application. First update is CIC charging your credit card or DD. And after that you'll receive PER or NER (positive eligibility or negative eligibility assessment) and then AOR (Maybe by 3rd or 4th month). So stop worrying about that now and apply immediately if you haven't done so. Also get your other docs ready such as PCC if you haven't sent those already!! Gud luck!!

Hello,

How do you know WES works only with UPS and TNT? I looked at WES Canada website it doesn't say anything about a specific courier service. The U.S website does say that "64 Beaver St, #146
New York, NY 10004 U.S.A. * This is a courier mail handling facility accepting DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc. Documents should not be hand delivered."

In any case, I would suggest that you contact WES Canada via "Contact Us" option available on this webpage right away and clarify if they would accept DHL. Good luck

In regard to where WES said that it deals with UPS and TNT, that will appear after starting to fill out the application on line, under the choice "Delivery Options" you will see two choices: Standard & track your order (international courier). Here there is a frank statement written (USP or TNT based on country). Anyway, I will take your advice and contact WES and see what will they respond.

Also, if u have a representative, directly send it to him

btw, not sure but heard that Canadian gov have special immigration/settlement program for syrians

I am going to start my educational credential evaluation process next week, and most likely this will be done by WES. Anyway, I have a problem and need your opinions on how to solve it.
The problem is that WES deals with only two courrier companies, namely UPS and TNT, and Unfortunately, both companies are not working now and don't have any office in the country where I am currently residing (Syria), So how can I have my WES evaluation delivered to my address? I know I can choose standard mail but this method won't work at all and can't be trusted especially in such unsecured chaotic circumstances like those of my country? so what are my other choices? Can I ask WES to send my evaluation via DHL, which is the only courrier company working here?
Any feedback will be appreciated.

2. i don't know what this form stands for, but if if doesn't show funds on your name, which are instantly usable - NO
3. as long as it shows their direct connection - such as in your case- YES, it should work

Point 2 was If Income tax document/return also needs to be submitted
Point 3- So, would High school certificate for my father and uncle should work showing them as blood relative?

My wife don't have her Birth Certificate (I am the principle applicant, but i am claiming relative marks through her),

Is her Secondary School Certificate enough (Have her DOB and Father Name) or Affidavit is also required. Anyone, specially Senior Member who have experience of sending just the Birth Certificate.

"Request for all mark sheets to be sent directly to WES by the institution responsible for conducting the examinations
-OR-

You may have photocopies of your original mark sheets attested and dated by the Controller of Examinations or Registrar’s Office. Please request for the attested photocopies to be placed in an official sealed envelope and have the envelope returned to you to forward to WES."

I have read in other posts that the next status should be "evaluation in progress". How long do I have to wait before the next status change?

Hi! On May 5 my status changed to documents received. In about 12-15 hours it became evaluation in progress. Just wait a little while.

Cant you have anyone else to transact with them institutions for you? Otherwise, you have to contact them via email for your request I think.
