Dear Guys,

Just got an email from WES about my completed evaluation report. The Canadian equivalency summary is "Bachelor's degree (three years)"

How much could be my education points?? 21? :'(

My understanding is that for the NOC you apply, you should be able to prove minimum of 1 year experience in the last 10 year.

thanks O_O for swift reply......right 1 yr should suffice....but you can not consider your work experience prior to 10 years. it has to be with in recent 10 years, is this correct?

Hi Guys ,

My CC charged for FBI , they received my finger prints on 11th Aug and CC charged today , so keep patience and expect atleast 20-25 days for the charge of credit card.

Hi guys

My application reached CIC - (for FSW appl) on 15-May-2014 or 16th May-2014.
My DD charged on 22-August-2014 as per their email
and got PER on 4-Sept-2014 by Allah's grace.
NOC 2281

What do you do if the current company refuses to issue experience letters with roles and responsibilities. I am not sure whether I will be able to get my application in before cap is reached and don't want to jeopardize my current job.

Use an affidavit from a company senior / supervisor, and attach their business cards and include a cover letter which mentions that your company is not ready to issue the experience letters.

Quick update on NOC 2174

CIC received my application on 6th May.
Credit card charged around end of May. On 4th September i got an email to do the medical and to submit the police certificates.

Hello everyone, just a quick clarification on work experience. do we get points for work experience in the listed 50 eligible nocs or is it only for qualifying with 1 year work experience under one of thoe NOCs

I've worked as an intern/trainee for 1 year and then was promoted to be a supervisor so can i get points for the trainee period which would make 4 years. can we get points for jobs other than those listed in the 50 categories

You get points for all work experience in the past 10 years under NOC O, A, or B. It doesn't have to be your nominated one or even the ones in the 50 list.

I applied mid-June and still waiting to hear back. Should I start gathering my PCCs or its too early? How many days do they give you to send your PCCs?

You will take another 20 odd days to hear from CIC. In the meanwhile you can start with the PCC process. Why wait till you get the PER ?

You will be fine. It's not a big deal.

Not a major issue, Around 5-10% applicants forget tht and get PER

Local VO may ask u to provide updated form with name in local language

Hello All,

I am new to the forum and need one clarification on the work experience cap.

my question - if i have over all experience more than 10 years then can I use the relevant experience for NOC (2281) even if it is beyond then the last 10 years. or it should only be with in the last 10 years no matter how much exp you have.

2008 - to date - Project Manager IT
2005 - 2008 - Sr. Systme and network Admin
2002 - 2005 - technical support engineer

Send copies of entire work ex (example : Offer letters, relieving letters, certificates of merit), but in the forms, mention only what is asked for, i.e. last 10 years experience details.
